This hotel is an experience...
To me, staying at Four Seasons Hotel in Sydney its more than an accomodation place, its a whole experience. Everything is beautiful, charming, clean, comfortable... The staff is very polite and go far and beyond to provide the best environment for you. Location is excellent. It is the best hotel in Sydney, in my opinion.
Amazing location, amazing views!
I just spent 2 nights here in a deluxe twin harbour view room. Everything about our stay was fantastic from the valets greeting us on arrival to the front desk staff. Our room had the most amazing views of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge with a beautiful window seat to take it all in. Our beds were super comfy, we had robes and slippers, a fully stocked mini bar, capsule coffee machine, a bath as well as a shower. The pool is heated and the spa was great too with day beds, water, sunscreen and face masks provided. Due to current COVID situation masks where required at all times in the public areas and temperature checks on arrival. We loved our stay here and can’t wait to return. Location and proximity to station and ferries is unbeatable. Thank you for the most pleasant stay.
Worst customer service EVER!!!!!
I forgot something at the property, and called over 10x to ask them to look for it as I knew exactly where it was and none of the staff seemed to care at all! Every single time I called I spoke to someone different that knew nothing about it, they did not care to help me find it or gave me any feedback about it! So frustrating!!!! You expect that a hotel like this would have at least the tinniest bit of customer service!
Poor service and planning
We booked a room for a staycation, booked and paid a head of time. Arrived at 1pm, already it appeared chaotic, there was a line up to pull up in front of the hotel. We had to flag down a staff after waiting 20 mins to be served. We were asked if we had made a valate parking booking, this was not advised upon booking or confirmation of booking. We were told their valate paring was at capacity and given we did not book valate parking we had to park our car at a near by park car park. When I displayed my confirmation(which clearly stipulated parking on site available, booking not required) to the staff. Staff could dismissed the matter and continued to advise parking is at capacity and we can park offsite.....given this hotel is of a high rating this is unacceptable and could of been dealt with accordingly. It was clear that given the high number of bookings, high demands their was insufficient staff available to cater or service the demand. Additionally we finally checked in after 3pm mind you as room was not ready on time and nothing offered for compensation or causing inconvenience. To make it worse we were declined using the pool as on a 32 degree day as they were at pool capacity....what the!!! Terrible terrible time, extremely disappointing, will not return and do not recommend, overrated and do not operate according to their star rating.
Night in the City
Location, rooms, breakfast and bar all fantastic. Great service, particularly Nasser who was the first person to greet us and the last person to say goodbye. Lovely staff in the dining room where nothing was too much trouble.
