Good resort great pool good beach access
We stayed a week in September 2020 and although its quiet (due to a lack of general travel at the moment) we had a great experience. The pool is beautiful. So to the landscaping! The restaurant serves excellent food but the limited menu doesn’t really cater for vegetarians/vegans. Visitors should note that the resort is located approx. 10 minute drive/uber ride from the ‘Main Street’. Or about an hour walk. Its not within walking distance.
Very nice resort with beautiful lagoon view from the penthouse apartment.
We stayed 5 nights at the Pullman and from check in the staff were very welcoming and accommodating. The penthouse apartment was spacious and clean and the beds comfortable. The restaurant menu was limited due to COVID but the food was good and presented nicely. The resort is about 7-8 minutes drive out of town but there is a shuttle if you don't have a car. I would highly recommend this resort to my friends. Special mention to Harry on the front desk for making things happen and to Maria, wait staff, for her friendly and professional manner.
The Best Australia Has To Offer!
This venue is the best place my wife and I have ever stayed at. It's so visually stunning, impressive and clean. We both said its the perfect mix of relaxing and fun. The staff (Isobelle) made our stay so comfortable. Make sure you stay 3+ nights... relax and enjoy the best Australia has to offer!!
Absolutely disappointed for many reasons. Stayed there for 3 nights as part of our engagement holiday. Many things was wrong from beginning to end. As a AccorHotels Member I travel around world but because of COVID we can’t go Overseas and also want to support our country I decided to pay most expensive property in Port Douglas in AccorHotels website. I wasted our money and they ruined our holiday. Of course we shared our experience with friend and family and they decided to NOT stay at this hotel. When we checked out I talk about some problem with a guy call Harry on front desk. He stood up silence and right to the end said I’m sorry do you want to talk to General Manager? I said not now he will read my survey soon. As a upset customer of course they didn’t send me survey because they knew I bring their NPS down with my feedback. Any ways they only nice thing we enjoyed was chatting with restaurant staff she was South American I think her name was Maria. She was so honest and sweet. We will go back to Port Douglas with all friends and family but definitely not to this hotel with this service. Shame.
This was my first time visiting Port Douglas and I’m glad we chose to stay at the Pullman Resort. The penthouse offered a great pool view and a lot of space in the bbq/spa area upstairs. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed. Make sure you book in a night at the restaurant as the tapas are very tasty. There is also a bar right beside the pool. Staff were friendly and helpful which makes all the difference.
