I checked into this hotel for quarantine, Queensland police officer's and Queensland health people are great they're very supportive, helpful. All Hotel Room's are wonderful with balconies to get some fresh air. Above all When it comes to hotel staff I am so very blessed that there's this amazing lady Laura, she's been wonderful, understanding,kind,soft spoken, helping . Laura is one of the biggest reason I'm giving 5 stars rating to Pacific international hotel. God bless you Laura. I wish all hotels have more staff like you. Lots of love ☺️
You hear so many complaints about hotel quarantine, but our experience at Pacific Hotel Cairns has been excellent. Attention to detail exceptional, response to clients enquires also exceptional. Let’s face it no one wants to be in hotel quarantine, but pacific hotel is making our time here like a lovely break from work. The food provided is excellent, I even received a special treat of a dessert plate for two. Thank you so much for making our quarantine a nice experience, especially loved having the balcony for fresh air. We will return when COVID is over to support a great local business. This Hotel prevails fakes advertisements for the price. Extremely disappointed for a family on a budgwt
Very disappointed. Hot tub in room not working Breakfast apples and yogurt . Hair on .bed sheets. I am .sso disappointed. Sending my family there. I have worked in hospitality for years beginning with the Marriott. Your standards and prices need review. I will have your business reviewed. I m disappointed I our stay and price. Shame in this Hotel with non working amenities.
Quarantine Hotel, but so good!
I am in the middle of 14 days quarantine at this hotel, and I cannot praise the hotel enough. Very, very friendly. Very, very helpful Caring, kind staff, police and ADF here. Food has been fantastic, and I speak as a former Chef. Hot, tasty, lots of it. The thought that has gone into the planning for quarantine has been amazing. If we ever reach a point when we 'win' against COVID-19, I would love to return to the hotel again. My sincere thanks for everything the hotel has done.
Very poor service!
The service here is SO poor. I booked months ago. Was given a call back in November to say I couldn’t stay here because they are a quarantine hotel. I was told I’m staying at the Pullman and that they’d send through the details. The never did. So I contacted them last week and they sent it through. I had a quiet about my stay at the Pullman. They weren’t willing to get the information for me even though they arranged my stay. They then sent me through an email 2 days ago about my stay with this hotel?? Seriously? They said I’m at the Pullman then they said I’m with them. So of course I emailed them and they then said it was an automated email and called me the wrong name! When I said it wasn’t my name and that I was glad I wasn’t staying with them as their service has been incredibly poor, I got a cocky “have a happy new year” message back. Ridiculous. I would never stay here or recommend it based on this experience. Thank god I’m not staying here!
