Amazing stay and highly recommended

We booked the Romance in the Rainforest package which was an amazing two night stay in a guesthouse with so many inclusions. The guesthouse was lovely, spacious and comfortable and the view was just spectacular. We did our own hike the first day and a 4WD tour the morning of our departure. We would recommend a guided tour as this gives you so much information on the rainforest and it's creatures. The hospitality and service was first rate. The food and wine was delicious and plentiful. The final inclusion of a picnic hamper at the O'Reilly's Canungra Valley Vineyards was a beautiful way to finish our break.

Very Special!

We stayed in a one bedroom Valley View Villa at O'Reilly's Rainforest Retreat and it was spectacular! The view from our large, private Villa deck was breath-taking and the amenities inside our Villa, five-star. We also went on various guided walks to two waterfalls; the four-wheel drive tour, the guided bird walk; and the Glow Worm tour at night, throughout our stay. The O'Reilly's Guides have exceptional knowledge, sharing their love of nature with their guests, so enthusiastically, it is contagious. Highly recommend going on a few group guided walks at O'Reilly's as you learn so much more, than you would walking these same trails on your own. Our accommodation package included the buffet breakfast and dinner menu each day/night which was such a treat. The food quality and selection were excellent. We were so impressed with our time at O'Reilly's, before we left, we booked again to return next year. Hints- if you stay in a Villa, book a "Valley View" Villa as the views are spectacular. Do not be concerned if the forecast is for overcast or showery weather when you are booked to stay. The diversity seen in the rainforest and the glow worms, love these conditions and put on the best show imaginable. All you need to remember is a light spray-jacket and the rest will be magic!

Disappointing, unfortunately!

I don’t like doing negative reviews usually, however we were very disappointed with o’Reillys overall. The views are absolutely amazing, but the resort, as a whole, is disappointing. Our Mountain View room was quite dated and run down. The directions we were given were rather unclear, and the room was a bit tricky to find. Extremely noisy, although that was more from the people in neighbouring rooms. We went to the bar for a sunset drink, only stayed for one, as the service was Lee’s than friendly. I called the dining room to book for dinner, no reservations after 5pm, so we ordered room service. It turned up with dinnerware for one person. Handy. We had booked for 3 nights, but left after one.

Absolute Paradise!

We stayed in a 2 bedroom Mountain View Villa for 3 nights and had a wonderful relaxing 3 day stay. We went for a tree top walk and waterfall walk the first day before spending time in the infinity pool which was lovely after a warm morning of walking. The Villa was beautiful, staff and dinner were excellent! We are already planning our next visit!

Thanks for a beautiful retreat We relaxed in the spa and infinity pool after some breathtaking bush walks . Enjoyed the food and the activities . Great location for families couples and solo visitors . Highly recommend the valley view villas definitely money well spent .
