Trapped Super Expensive
Remember the Faulty Towers episode O'Reilly the shonky builder ? Ranked the least funny of all the eposides.......well.....well....you get where I am coming from ? Stuck boring nothing to do but bush walk and the food is massively overpriced. Try $20+ at the lunch cafe for a burger. Now a family of 4 plus drinks $100+ FOR A SNACK. I am expecting Ned Kelly to jump out of the bush !!! Nearest food 45 minutes down mountain road.
Gorgeous spot - perfect!
Great views, accomodation and friendly staff. Activities were amazing - segways were great! and the wildlife and rainforest and walks absolutely awesome. Great to get away and can’t help but relax. Bliss - pure bliss - will be back.
What an amazing secret is O’Reillys right on our doorstep !! The comfort of the rooms ; the genuinely friendly & helpful staff ; the incredible beauty of the National Parks walking trails , waterfalls & vegetation and the food in the dining outlets were just fantastic. We were also very impressed with the way there is a large varied itinerary of guided walks , talks & 4 WD tours that people can do each day . Something for everyone - regardless of your level of fitness or bushwalking expertise.
Wildlife lovers heaven
We rented a two bedroom apartment and it was very private but not too far away from all amenities.. Loved the fire place, balcony and serenity. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent, but needs to be pre-booked. Amazing bird wild life everywhere. Beautiful bush walks. Service great throughout. Breakfast service and supply needs to be improved. Lots of activities and walks. We will be back for sure.
I did not want to leave
This place has it all. I agree some accommodation is dated but it’s clean and comfortable and that’s all you need because there is too much to do to be in the room. The walks, activities, day trips and the Day Spa all combine to give you a fabulous experience. The bird walk before breakfast is a must it sets the tone for your visit. Glenn(I think) was hilarious and so knowledgeable. James on reception along with a delightful young lady were always smiling and there to help with any request. We loved the walks, so clearly signposted and just delightful forest. The sunset tour was great, best of O’ Reilly’s was good but it would be good to have some type of audio system in the bus because it would be good to have a little commentary while travelling. When Ben did speak( which was not often) we couldn’t hear him over the air conditioning unit. His guided walk into the falls as part of this tour was excellent He showed us so many things we would never have noticed. Don’t change O’Reilleys, it’s a fabulous place to recharge your batteries and learn some history and nature as well.
