Horrendous customer service
Sebel Noosa have the worst customer service. They don’t reply to email enquiries. I have sent follows ups and still no reply. Additionally, when i phoned this morning they were extremely rude and provided no assistance. We were endeavouring to book using a red balloon voucher and were essentially told to stick it. I’m unsure why you’d advertise the hotel on red balloon if you have no intention of assisting customers when they endeavour to use the voucher.
Well located...apartments need an upgrade
The Sebel is in a great spot with loads of dining options and an easy one minute walk to the beach. The apartments were clean and comfortable but looking a bit tired and dated. We felt as though it was overpriced for the quality.
Whilst reception wasnt open 24hrs due to covid safe precautioms, our stay was very good. Amenities, laundry and ironing board options. We received a free hearty breakfast hamper (yoghurt, eggs, bacon, sausages, a whole loaf of bread, some milk poppers, avocado, fruit salad etc) a lifesaver since hastings st is very quiet ator due to reduced cafe limited hrs etc, free basic drinks voucher for each member (3p), $50 credit for our stay (which we used for a lunch with a nearby partnered restaurant) & a free basic high tea. Mum & Dad were very impressed. Whilst we preffered not to have our room serviced this time (I do love free tea & hot chocs) , and there seemed less staff, they were very friendly, including the cleaners etc, helping with the gates etc, pleasant. First time using membership card. Handy carpark. Fun times in the pool. Wouldnt have minded a hotter jacuzzi spa😉 but it is summer after all. Good stay, good discount ator, overall good packaged deal. Some pictures available on @missanhchanh
Great service but odd facilities
The personal service and welcoming from Jon was great. All our requests for room service (coffee, towels etc) were always prompt and friendly. The only peculiar aspect is some of the facilities - a dishwasher that leaves everything wet, a plug in the kitchen sink that doesn’t work (I used a bowl to wash up), a mis-programmed TV (but Bobby was great in fixing it), no powerpoint for the iron near the utilities cupboards, and a glass shelf in the shower that is dangerously close.
Our one bedroom apartment with a garden view of was exactly what we were looking for. The facilities of the hotel are clean and luxurious down to the choice of bath salts provided for the spa bath in our room. The hotel is so close to restaurants, the beach, and Noosa National Park for hiking and beautiful lookout points. We had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to come back to visit!
