Villa's sub-par

The resort itself was nice, but the Cooloola Villa we stayed in was very outdated and had broken fan switches, mould in shower base and chipped benchtops. Very overpriced for what we got. Probably would rate the villas as a cabin in a 3 star caravan park.

Resort retreat

Beautiful eco style resort that blended well worth the island which catered well for families. Amazing food, especially the seafood. The villas are extremely comfortable. The staff were so helpful and friendly and the resort had a relaxed atmosphere. Families would love it here especially with children.

Kingfisher Bay Resort

It was so easy to have all our luggage transported from the mainland office to the Resort with secure parking available - made things so easy, even though we were not checking in for a few days as we were doing a 4 day hike across the island first. We were very well looked after and any issues were addressed promptly (i.e. washing machine that was not working that night was replaced the next day).

Birthday celebration

Great holiday, friendly staff, I stayed in the ocean view room and it was nice, very clean. The rooms are a little outdated but are still nice. This resort is great, just not very pram or wheelchair friendly.

Location ✅

Weather was sensational- location gorgeous- food and drinks - pricey and service terrible- disappointing after looking forward to a relaxing vacay. Could have spent so much more had there been more staff poolside
