The manager that was on was very rude and unhelpful we were staying there for our anniversary we wanted to upgrade we had the loft that was amazing but he was so unhelpful and rude I would think twice before staying there again
Hotel location is great. I love that they have a valet parking service. Room is no difference from normal room in other hotels when it comes to cleanliness. except for the bed very comfortable and I love the table has glass drawer that you can put your jewelry on. Best restaurant is the Junction Grill. Atrium and Epicurean restaurant is good but very expensive for the choices of the buffet they’re offering. But the service everywhere is great. Love to stay again.
Lovely but keep tabs on receipts
Beautiful place, very luxurious. But at check in the pre-authorisation was nearly charged at over $500 but luckily I picked up the typo. We also got a package deal which entitled us to a free bottle of sparkling wine for the room on arrival. But I had to chase this up as it wasn’t there and i nearly opened the mini bar bottle thinking that might be it. Also breakfast was included. But at the breakfast with people standing behind me they said I wasn’t on the list and then had to recheck it only to find that we were actually on the list. And then at checkout they had charged us for the breakfast which was included in the prepaid package deal so I had to get them to redo the final charge. So i would recommend keeping an eye on charges. Shame to have to do this at such a luxurious place.
The amenities on site are very good - Casino, Restaurants, Pool, Spa etc. Room service for breakfast was pretty average as breakfast was medium temperature on arrival. I think the charges are a little on the high side for the hotel stay but the facilities are on hand and good. I think that charging extra for an early check in ($15.00 for an hour earlier) is a little bit cheeky when you have already got the room booked, and that price rises dramatically as the hours rise.
Over rated and over priced
Ridiculous queues to check in and out. Dodgy access to room with views of tin roof and pipes. Would recommend, wouldn’t stay again, don’t know what all the fuss is about. Would rather stay at the Ritz or Duxton. Paid $20 for espresso martini at lobby bar which was the worst espresso I’ve ever had and I’ve had a lot, all premixed liquor. The only good thing was Noodle bar food delicious.
