This is located in amongst the tall Karri trees and we were lucky enough to get a lakeside cabin . They are very clean and suited us for what we needed. They have plenty of activities for all ages and there are walks near by that you can go on . The restaurant on the grounds serves beautiful meals and seem to cater for most people . Would definitely come again
warning !!!!! falling tree branches
Nice setting, rooms could do with a little more comforts ,quite bland. Restaurant very hit and miss, fresh prawns in the pasta instead of taistless frozen bag prawns, just ordinary allthough friendly service and cold beer. Just a warning on reading the conditions regarding falling branches,we parked in the correct area and unlucky for us a falling branch actually damaged my car so much rac wrote it off,the resort manager i think his name is Andrew told us and another couple whos car was damaged that they would sort out out excess on our claims, but a few days later, they didnt want to know, nothing, our problem,so be careful very careful, really turned me off the resort and management, never again.
Room with a view
We first saw the Karri Valley Resort from the other side of the lake on a visit to the Beedelup Falls and earmarked it for a stay on our next visit to Pemberton. Certainly lived up to expectations. We had a lakeside room on the upper level. The view was just stunning and we loved watching all the bird life- in fact we spent much more time than usual in our room we enjoyed it so much! The room was spacious with a super comfortable bed and very efficient a/c. The bathroom was basic, but serviceable and clean - certainly couldn’t fault maintenance - on arrival we discovered that the hand basin was leaking badly - a quick call to reception and it was fixed in record time. The Lakeside Restaurant is an absolute bonus as the resort is quite a drive from Pemberton. As per my separate review we gave the menu a good run over our three night stay!
Lovely chalet and surroundings
I stayed four days in a hillview chalet. The chalet is lovely, with a fire place and fully equipped kitchen. The site is beautiful with plenty of things to do. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I went with my 3-year old granddaughter and there was plenty to do for her. She loved the playground and the putt putt. Only drawback was that we went just after the Covid lockdown and many dishes were not available in the restaurant.
Beautiful and serene
this is a hidden gem of a location. Nestled amongst the giants of the forrest . Karri valley lodge is a wonderful place to rest and recover . We wanted a apartment but too late so ended up with hotel room right on Lake. But with its verandah over the water this was just what we needed. The room had a gentle refresh with a new coat of paint but the bathroom needs a overhaul. Tired and old looking. But hey so am I. The kitchenette was a bonus but they need to ensure they check the crockery is clean as we encountered hairs and quite a substantial layer of dirt and dust. But hey we have hands we can wash. The people were friendly and service excellent. But please lift your game in the restaurant. It was expensive but the food was absolutely dreadful over cooked and very unappealing and items missing from the dishes. But.....the management handled this with such dignity and consideration that I have only but praise for them. We are hikers and the surrounding area is beautiful and right on biblumum track so perfect.
