Fantastic resort - pity not everything was open
Stayed in a pearlers bungalow for 8 nights. Bungalow itself fantastic - spacious and well appointed. Plenty of ceiling fans and airconditioning which are needed if you travel in December/January. Staff at the resort were all pleasant and helpful. There are 2 pools at the resort, 1 for adults only, however there is no shade in that pool. The family pool has a big shade sail over the top but you do have to put up with kids jumping all over you. There are a number of restaurants in the resort itself but unfortunately opening hours appear to have been scaled back, probably because of COVID/staffing. Prices at the bars are a little on the expensive side, but divers tavern is a 5 minute walk from the resort and there is a bottle shop there. Sitting and taking in a sunset at the sunset bar is an absolute must and we also booked for dinner one night and found the food was excellent. Check out time is 10AM however the resort will issue you with a card so you can still use the resort facilities after check out. We had a flight late in the day and found this invaluable. You can also book 30 minutes in a change room which has a large dressing room, toilet and double shower so you can freshen up before you leave.
Perfect retreat and rest
We were here in July for 5 nights and it was not long enough so in January we returned. Many in Perth thought we were mad but in fact it turned out to be hotter in Perth during some of our stay. The staff have been amazing. I know the resort like many businesses in the region have struggled to get staff. But from the first meeting at the airport the staff have made our stay. Nothing is too hard or impossible. We have seen staff serve drinks at the bar and then turn up to deliver room service with a smile. Great work team and thank you we will be back.
Lovely resort, excellent staff
Just had 2 weeks in a Classic Bungalow. Have stayed before and it was as good as ever. The Bungalows are spacious and comfortable, ours had an open space on one side and with all the wildlife it felt like we were in a hide! Adult pool is lovely and all food outlets excellent. One minor quibble - I know the resort was operating on reduced staff but the room service menu is very restricted if you can't eat chilli. Enjoyed it so much we rebooked for July/August. Special thanks to Joseph and, in particular, Emily who went out of their way to ensure we got the accommodation and dates we wanted for that booking.
So so loved our 4 day 3 night stay at Cable Beach Club Resort (29th Dec to 1st Jan)...everything was exceptional throughout our stay...beginning with our seamless check-in with a complimentary champagne which was an added bonus...our Pool Terrace Studio was superb (Corella Wing 235)and we had direct access to the Adults Only Ocean Pool...our Dining experiences were awesome...we opted for the Al La Carte Breakfast daily which was in the Sunset Bar overlooking the Iconic Cable Beach ...the breakfasts were so yummy and the supervisor Jamila each day was exceptional and extremely professional...greeting us with a friendly smile and a genuine caring approach...she noticed that my daughter was pregnant and always had a Second cushion ready to put behind her back...Jonti our waitress had excellent customer service skills and was delightful to chat with each morning...we also had memorable meals at the Sunset Bar in the evenings and yummy lunches around the Ocean Pool...our stay included New Years Eve and we dined at the Cichetti Club...the 3 courses were memorable and delicious Italian Cuisine Thanks to all the Team at Cable Beach Club Resort....Much Appreciated Pamela and Kira
Everything was perfect, except the wifi
I'm into my 3rd night of my 6 days stay. Can't fault the resort for cleanliness. The rooms are cleaned to perfection daily and smells amazing. The breakfast was average at Sunset Bar & Grill, however the service made up for it. Staff at the bar were lovely and always attentive to the needs of guests. Location was amazing as I was able to do my daily sunset walks and really enjoyed it. The biggest issue I'm facing during my stay is the wifi. I have little to zero internet connection in my room and even though I have brought the issue up to the reception, nothing has been done. I have seen a couple of reviews from guests regarding the same issue of wifi and the replies to those comments was to bring up the issue to the front desk. So far, I’m still facing the same issue with wifi. I overheard the staff mentioning that I am a young guest and thus, wifi is not important since I’m not on a business trip(?). That was unpleasant to hear knowing I am a paying guest and definitely deserve to be treated equally regardless if I am on a vacation or a business trip. If wifi is not an issue, I'd highly recommend. However, if you need good wifi, maybe book somewhere else to stay.
