We had an amazing stay at sails in the desert. The service was excellent and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were also very comfortable and clean. Would highly recommend staying here while visiting Uluru!
Our stay at Sails complimented our Uluru experience perfectly. The service was helpful and friendly all throughout. We received great service from enquiry to booking and all throughout our 3 night stay. I would highly recommend.
Our stay at Sails was amazing. The staff were some of the friendliest and happiest staff I have come across in a hotel before. They were always willing to help and go above and beyond for guests. The resort itself is so well maintained and clean, the pool area is great and I love the comfy chairs around the pool, they are great. Our room was so clean and really spacious! I loved the pool towels supplied in the room too. The buffet breakfast was really amazing and all the other meals we had were enjoyable! The view from our room was beautiful and a nice sight when we were on the balcony. The organisation of airport transfers and tours is impeccable and spot on. I would highly recommend Sails in the Desert and I will be back for sure. The only improvement I would suggest would be to have some water and snacks in the rooms :) other than that, it’s absolutely perfect.
We had a very enjoyable 3 night stay at Sails in the Desert. Check in was nice an easy with the hotel semi recognizing my Gold Accor membership by giving up our complimentary drinks but there was no room upgrade or any other benefits. Despite no room upgrade our room was very nice with two Queen size beds and a well appointed room. The bathroom was very clean and modern with excellent toiletries. We had dinner one night at the restaurant. At $77 per head it is a very expensive buffet especially for a vegetarian like myself. My wife enjoyed the seafood but I thought it lacked vegetarian options. It was disappointing that kids are charged $25 for over 3 year olds. We did not end up having breakfast their either due to the $45 price per person. The pool was nice as were the grounds and inside areas. Would happily stay there again especially since you can get very reasonably priced food at the local supermarket.

Yes have to go to Uluru - so figured stay somewhere good. Would not bother with Sails again - once of the cheaper resort options would be fine. Don't get me wrong - it was fine - but you could have been anywhere in the world (apart from the indigenous art work /shop in the foyer, and carpet). Room are clean and tidy - but I wouldn't say lux. Appreciate you have to pay extra due to isolation - but really......... It is beginning to show its age. Very 1970's vibe about the whole place really. Also $40 for a set breakfast is crazy - unless it is extremely high quality which it wasn't. Didn't eat at the hotel itself due to other options available. Staff lovely. Booking is easy - and the staff at Voyages are really really helpful.
