Longitude 131°, Uluru
Overlooking the dual World Heritage-listed Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, Longitude 131° offers a refined and incredibly intimate experience of the Red Centre, with just 15 tents, fine dining and world class service. It's a member of Luxury Lodges of Australia and showcases desert luxe at its very best.
The region’s iconic natural attractions are explored on a series of signature guided encounters, including sunrise and sunset experiences to witness Uluru’s changing colours and insights into the ancient creation stories of the traditional landowners. Typical dining is at the Dune House, serving a daily menu of modern Australian cuisine enhanced by indigenous flavours. Dining under the stars at Table 131° – surrounded by the night sounds of the desert and the movement and songs of an ancient culture by firelight – is a must. For an unforgettable experience, dining on the dunetop can also be arranged.
Each of the individual elevated tents pays homage to an early Australian pioneer or explorer. Flowing draped fabrics and white dome roofs create the illusion of camping – yet these rooms are complete with modern luxuries including rain showers, air-conditioning, Wi-Fi and iPads.
