Best hotel selection in Apollo

We choose to stay at Captains booking off Expedia. So far it has been by far the best room of our trip. We stayed in "the bridge" with the big bath in the bedroom. The room also had a great shower and is in a great central and quiet location. Wish we could've stayed for more nights.

Beautiful

Stayed in Captains Cottage and it was absolutely wonderful, beautiful furnishings and amazing showers!! Plus fluffy robes, pure relaxation!! Close enough to town for a leisurely walk in. Very friendly staff, a must along the GOR!

Immaculately clean and kind and friendly owners

My daughter and I stayed at Captains for 4 nights in a Bridge Room. It was comfy, cosy and immaculately clean. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was big and spacious. Anna and Duncan were very kind and friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had a great time in Apollo Bay. Would definitely recommend.

A warm welcome.

Anna & Duncan's guest house is lovely. A friendly welcome and a very comfortable terrace room with free parking outside. Best bit was the breakfast in the morning. Everything you could possibly want and fresh. Although we only stayed one night it was one to remember.

Great Accommodation in Apollo Bay

Apollo Bay is a lovely location for Captains at the Bay guest house. We had a warm welcome and were shown to the great Captain's Cottage where we could park our hire car immediately outside the door which was handy for unloading. There was a large king size bed with a wall at the back behind which was the bathroom and utility area. We really liked this layout and felt it added a lot to the quality of the room. There is a guest laundry a short distance away and use of the washing machine and tumble dryer costs AUD$7 which was very reasonable. Breakfast offered a reasonable range of food choices and you could opt for bacon and eggs. Our eggs were somewhat over cooked though which was a shame. There is no food service apart from the breakfast, however there are a large number of restaurants available within a short walking distance. It is certainly a place that I would highly recommend if you are driving the Great Ocean Road.
