Stayed here for three nights to celebrate my birthday in a King Suite which was very clean and comfortable with a private balcony overlooking the countryside. We also ate dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and were very impressed by all the staff who are so attentive and friendly. The buffet breakfast is very generous and we did not want for anything. We would definitely stay here again.
Most fabulous breakfast & staff
After a long trip with two young ones and a heading to Uluru. Stopping midway in Barossa was just perfect. Novotel made it even better. Lady looking after breakfast & coffee in the morning really knows what caring hospitality means! Loved it
Great Stay and Friendly Staff
We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at the Barossa Valley Novotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. We stayed for two nights, and had breakfast and our evening meals in the Dining Room. Breakfast was well organised and enjoyable. Our one complaint would be the choice of menu for the evening meal. When staying more than one night, we found there was insufficient choice. Maybe we could suggest a special dish be introduced each night, to give patrons another option. We also asked if we could have fresh fruit for dietary reasons, instead of the rich desserts on the menu. For the price charged, we were disappointed that the provided fruit was off the breakfast menu and not up to restaurant standard.
Great facility with spacious rooms. Air quality at times was interrupted by some sewage issues which clouded some outdoor experiences at the venue. The kitchen was terrific with all foods being of a high standard. The day spa provided quality massages. The overall location of the venue in proximity to the many vineyards in the Barossa was most advantageous reducing overall travel time. A great interstate getaway and would recommend.
Came from Sydney, accustomed to how we are looked after in the Hunter Valley. We are Gold Accor members and there was no upgrade or treat in the room. NSW are amazing in this regard. When we reminded them, we were told they got our status wrong, so they sent us a pack of smarties????? Then we went to dinner (very average) only to find out they wouldn’t accept Accor cards for dining benefits (although Sydney just two days ago looked after us big time). So we will not dine with them again (and the food won’t be missed in any case). And hey, don’t dress up for dinner. It’s brasserie style at best and lacking in atmosphere. The accommodation itself is not up to Accor levels, in our opinion. Would look elsewhere!
