Paradise in Paradise
The Pacific Resort Aitutaki. This place is a gem, the setting for the most perfect holiday. The location is so beautiful, lots of different views of the sublime lagoon filled with an abundance of sea life to be viewed through crystal clear water. The Hotel is fantastic, from decor, to facilities, magnificent restaurants with views and topped off with the most genuine and helpful staff. From Management to Housekeeping - we could not find fault anything. The attention to detail is nothing short of refreshing and unique. This is not a budget Hotel and if you want or need, to skimp on price - then there is alternative accommodation available on the Island. But if you want to feel safe, rested, incredibly well feed, awestruck by the beauty surrounding you, stay in immaculately clean luxurious villas, then look no further - The Pacific Resort, Aitutaki has it all. Our second trip but absolutely not our last. Special thanks to Shellie, James and congratulations to all their Team on Board. Your guys totally know hospitality. Until next time - don't go changing :-)
Words cannot express how wonderful our stay was at this resort - from the our bungalow nestled against the sandy beach to the open air restaurant with exquisite food and drink; to the walks on the beach with incredible cloud displays; kayaking and SUPing around the live coral full of fish; beautiful snorkeling nearby; bike and scooter rides! Above all, ALL the staff was absolutely wonderful. RECOMMEND! P.S. The water IS truly the beautiful turquoise above!
a home away from home
Pacific resort Aitutaki is a marvellous place! The staff is superfriendly and strives to make you feel at home. Our ultimate beach front bungalow had a spectacular view, was very spacious and the bathroom even had 2 showers. No actually 3 - there was an outside shower in the patio and 2 showerheads in the inside shower. The food was excellent and so was the whole property. Complimentary mask and snorkel in the room and on the beach flippers and kayaks to use. The lagoon is perfect for snorkelling. We have seen plenty fish, starfish and really really an abundance of seacucumbers (those I could do without). But what really blew our minds was the resort manager, Shelley. We almost got stranded on Aitutaki during the Covid-19 epidemic situation. New Zealand closed their borders and wouldn't let foreigners enter or just transit. Shelley was there for us and did everything she could to update us on the situation. She even organized rooms for us at Pacific Resort Rarotonga at a special rate because we had to stay there and wait for an opportunity to get home. Thank you Shelley, we are ever so grateful! We do hope to be back one day!
We enjoyed a blissful five nights at Pacific Resort Aitutaki. I cannot think of another resort that I have enjoyed more. Our room was spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed. The view was superb. Service was excellent and friendly. Food was delicious. The pool was lovely. The grounds were like a tropical botanic garden. We will return.
This resort is first class. The grounds are beautiful, the staff beyond friendly, the bungalows are very roomy and the snorkeling right out your front door is the best we found without going on a boat. We rode the resort's bikes all over the island. Some would say 5 days on Aitutaki is too much as it is pretty slow, but that was the beauty. I was so relaxed when I left there. We had a great couples massage in the spa and I enjoyed a facial before leaving the island.
