The Real Nice Residence ❤️
I recently stayed at the Jaffa residences, some real nice modern apartments, which have a separate entrance to the hotel, which was really convinient, as the hotel is temporarily closed due to the global pandemic situation. I have to say even do the hotel side and all its facilities (pool, spa, restaurant) were not open, we still had a great time. Katie from residence concierge was super helpful. Alina which covered some shifts there to super smiley and ready to assist. We also met Torsten the General Manager, which kept us up to date on what is accessible in the city and went out of his way to organize taxi’s, restaurants etc. The residence entrance is located at the heart of Jaffa’s galleries and the famous hanging tree of Jaffa. Lots to explore right outside the residence... and no crowds. We felt very save at the residences as all were wearing mask, screen were set at the residence desk, hand wipes, hand sanitizer and mask were displayed at the desk for everyone’s use. The were on top of it, we felt great in the new normal. Also have to mention that they have an amazing gym, too notch equipment, best of the best Technogym. So if you are planning to go to Tel Aviv... for me this is the place. Thank you to the Jaffa Residence Team, we cant wait to return to see all open again.
They just get all the details right
This hotel is just such a good experience. The staff is incredibly friendly and warm. The rooms are elegant and modern. The gym and spa are incredibly comfortable - I love the sauna and found it to be the perfect way to end my stay. Special mention must go to Freddie who is incredibly warm and friendly and was able to arrange a late checkout for us. We celebrated my wife’s birthday and they even sent up a bottle of champagne and chocolates on the house. Amazing experience and definitely will stay here again.
Interesting stay during Yom Kippur
This hotel is simply amazing. I have to put this down to the incredible attention of the General Manager Torsten Richter. We were there on Yom Kippur. Having never been to Israel before, let alone on such an important holiday, we didnt know what to expect. It was quite a surprise that at even a 5 star hotel there would be such an impact. Many of the services were not available. There was a limited menu offered at the one open restaurant. There was not enough staff given that all guests staying at the hotel were dining in as there was simply no where else to go. Torsten Richter jumped in and was taking orders and waiting tables. I know he didn't get much sleep that night. Long before dinner, we had arrived at the hotel. Mr Richter was there greeting guests personally, and showed us to our room. Our room was very small with no space for luggage but had a very nice bathroom. I was crestfallen that the lovely Chapel Bar was closed for the holiday. Mr Richter saw to it that we were still able to enjoy this beautiful bar even though it was closed. Is there a more lovely bar in the entire world? I dont think so. Due to the holiday and something to do with the airspace being closed our flight was delayed by many hours. Mr Richter allowed us an incredibly late check-out as there was really no where else for us to go. The airport had not even re-opened yet. It was an immensely kind gesture. Thank you so much. This is such a beautiful and special property. We long to visit again, NOT on Yom Kippur, so that we can enjoy all the amenities Im sure the Jaffa offers.
We had an amazing night at the hotel, the staff was very nice! most of all was the room, a great view and very well designed The breakfast is very rich and nice done. We got a free champagne to our room with a greeting letter 😁
Come for the Historic Hotel... stay for the Service
As you can tell from my profile. I do not regularly provide reviews. It takes a special experience. I arrived at the hotel after a long day of driving around Northern Israel. I was greeted by friendly and helpful staff who escorted me into the lobby. As I checked into the hotel they welcomed me as a "frequent traveler" (Marriott Property). I couldn't be more complimentary of Dahleet from Guest Relations and Meni at the front desk for both their warmness and professionalism. I had a room in the old building which I enjoyed. At night I partook of the Chapel Bar for a drink, it's a lovely environment and great service from Anastasia and Emily. For breakfast staff was equally excellent with Kate leading the way... I only lament my rush on Morning one which prevented a leisurely breakfast which I remedied on my checkout day. Again.. the service for breakfast was 2nd to none. I'd also like to recognize the excellent service I received from Florencia (Guest Relations Supervisor) on my 2nd night in the hotel. When I experienced a slight hiccup due to a misunderstanding she immediately rectified the situation and was immensely pleasant to work with. Gold Stars all around to an excellent property and an even better staff.
