Family weekend with twins aged 9
We stayed in Eilat for 2 nights. We took a family room. The kids section of the room has no window which is not so pleasant. The view from 7th floor was amazing. The pool area was very very dirty. People left food and bottles on chairs, tables and on the floor. The pool itself was relatively clean. Breakfast was OK but not organized and quite chaotic. Staff was very good in all departments apart from Room service. Pizza on TV menu was 34 nis but when I ordered they said it was 45 nis. They wouldn’t change the price and only at check out did the front desk manager take off the 11 nis. All in all a great view from the room, the sea was amazing but pool area very dirty. 8 out of 10. I am a British born living in Israel. I normally go to Greece on holidays. This hotel needs work
Could be better...
Great view to the bay fit for 2 adults + 3 kids, food is good, the 3 pools are nice and the beach is 10m walk. But it was clear that maintenance is not as you would expect for this price. Towels were missing when we came in (had to wait 30m), dirty glasses were left in the from previous guests (got new glasses 30m later but the old were left in the room...), and last you could notice many lights went out and were not replaced...
The Perfect Vacation
Stayed 4 nights in the Royal beach Eilat with my family and had a great time ! The kids (and us) had plenty to do (3 pools, 2 playrooms and a private beach) so we didn't want to leave the hotel at all. The hotel has very good restaurants and although the hotel was fully booked it didn't feel crowded. Great location and very friendly staff, in particular Sima Cohen the guest relations manager who made our vacation a PERFECT one!
A perfect vacation
It was a perfect vacation in a perfect hotel! All the workers in the hotel are super nice, the rooms were amazing, the food was so good. My mom is vegan and she got every morning a vegan breakfast. We loved the pool and the hotel’s beach. The kids club is super fun for the kids. The location of the hotel is perfect! We had the best time ever.
Great, fun, safe visit during COVID-19
This is not our first time at the Royal beach hotel. We always have such a great time and that’s why we keep coming back! Pros: Rooms - great rooms for families and couples, fun shower and balcony Room service - great service Staff - front desk, breakfast, security, cleaning - all very welcoming, polite and willing to help. I want to say a special thanks to Omer who greeted us at the front desk and had a snile on his face - no matter what! Breakfast - even during covid-19 one of the beat I’ve had. Location - on the beach, close to everything (walking distance from restaurants, 2 malls, beach). Pools - nothing to add Would improve: Covid-19 aspects - I would put a sign that more than 4 people are not allowed in the elevators... people were pushing inside without a mask - we’ve been to other hotels where the guests personal space was maintained. Spa - we were not told that our treatment (paid by regular price) would not include sauna, jacuzzi or even a shower or lockers. Overpriced for merely a massage. Cleaning - room cleaning could be better (specially during covid times). I have a kid so went over the room with wipes and found some “missed spots”. Sheets and towels were stained (and quickly changed of course) but i expect to not even get the dirty ones in the first place in a 5stars hotel.
