Amazing, Beautiful, Peaceful, Perfect
Arrived to be greeted by very friendly and welcoming security gate (Wednesday 4pm) Bell Desk/Buggy drivers fantastic in every way, great conversation, that noticed my wife was pregnant and drove a little bit slower without being asked. Our Villa was beautiful, We managed to get all connected, even was kind assistance for Aju engineer who come to connect our apple TV (tried to make it easier for them to connect without the need to come to the villa, but still very much appreciated) HK team, one must stay how much work it does take to clean and sanitize each room have definitely made staying away that much more comfortable. Naveen looked after us well, every managed a beautiful display on our bed on return, my daughter loved this little towel animal. Dinner in Farmhouse, perfect after a long drive, relaxing, food was great. Breakfast service was spot on from, special mention to Neha who was very kind and and picked up on the simples things such as pillow for my wife as she was pregnant. Afisi, was in the next villa cleaning the pool, was very kind to help pick up my daughters goggles that somehow managed to fly over the poolside at the hands of a 3 year old. KidsClub....there is just so much to do, its great and all sanitizing efforts are done to make the mums and dads feel that much safer with the littles ones running around. i must stay its one of the best kids clubs we have seen, so well organised and layed out with arts and crafts, beautifully done. Joseph quickly followed up on request, that was not a hassles at all, we booked the pony splash, the team there were also provided us with details on horses and about the resort. last mention to Gopun picked helped with check-out, was very kind and made great conversation. I spent three memorable days at RC Ras al Khaimah al Wadi.I have been around the world and I can honestly say i have hardly seen this combination of kindness,efficiency and professionality in each and every one of the members of staff. Faisal and Pooja at the reception, Ginalinda and the Kaheela team, and most particularly our extremely kind boogie driver,Gopal, they have made our stay unforgetable.My kindcregards too to the housekeeping team(never understood how they did it but the villa was shining clean at all moments. We ll certainly be back and i will recommend this place to my friends. Best regards and thanks to all. Javier
It was great but a few things to watch out
I've just returned from a staycation at Ritz Calrton, Al Wadi Desert. It was a fabulous stay but they could improve their customer service in some areas. For example, upon arrival noone has offered a bottle of water or any kind of reshments, nor a cold towel as most of the hotels would do. The checking-in took ages, to the point that I had to stand up and ask if someone is looking after us, it was very disappointing. They also got the villa wrong, we booked Al Sahari Secluded Tented Pool Villa, but they took us to Al Rimal Pool Villa, which was also frustrating after waiting for almost 40min to check in. The Al Sahari villa was great, very spacious, clean and comfortable, however a few points to mention: - I've observed that they didn't offer a great choice of teas nor coffee selection, only powder creamer was available. - During the afternoon room service, they left some chocolates but only for one person, which I found very strange. - The room dining-in service was extremely slow, waiting time around 45min for a small fruit platter. - Delayed buggy service. But overall it was a fantastic staycation, The Farmhouse restaurant served tasty dishes, I really liked the beetroot salad, maple roasted vegetables, the steak and lobster (Surf and Turf) was excellent, as well as seabass dish. The jumbo grilled prawns were a little dry and bland for my liking. The service was friendly and professional.
A wonderful stay
The villa was fantastic with a private pool offering privacy and a sublime sunset view in the evening.... We even got to see some gazelles, oryx and camels right outside the pool. The staff were very professional and kind. Room service was excellent, with the food always served hot... and great breakfast in the restaurant. The children's menu was very balanced, varied and very tasty. We also had dinner at the restaurant "Farmhouse », which has a great view, great decoration, amazing food and the staff are incredible! We were able to do the rainforest and a very relaxing massage, which we recommend. The kids club was big with various activities, our son was delighted to go because "Favor" took care of him very well. The adult and children's bicycles provided were very useful for visiting the resort and brought a real holiday feeling. Many activities were offered (falcon show, owl interactions, animal sightings, camel riding and a superb stable). We went to the equestrian center several times and met Javed, who made our vacation better and made our son love horses! He was very professional and gentle with children. He loves his job with real passion. We went for wonderful horse rides for adults and children thanks to him. Our son was delighted to groom and feed the little poneys (notably fluff) and his favourite white horse was Nino. The place was clean, and allowed guests to see horses, rabbits, goats .... There were also 7 free camels including a baby camel. We had a fabulous family sunset camel ride. Many thanks to all of you for making our vacation wonderful... and a special thank you to Cswythle for your help, kindness and very professionnalism :) We will be back very soon. V&S&L
60th Birthday and Wedding Anniversary
We had such high expectations. My husband surprised me with booking us into the resort for 1 night and he included a 4 hour spa experience and dinner in the evening. Of all the city breaks or holidays I have had, this experience was the worst ever. The only redeeming factor was the dinner we had in the evening. I wrote a letter of complaint on the day we checked out early. 9 days later I chased them for a response. To say I am satisfied with the response is an understatement. Highly disappointing and we spent a fortune for a thoroughly miserable experience and such sad memories for a milestone birthday and wedding anniversary.
