The hotel was amazing, the atmosphere was so calming and relaxing. I visited the tented alkhaimah villa which was really nice villa it’s has lots of facilities such as private pool and bicycle for each guest . The pool was clean and tempered well and you can adjust the temperature as you like. And the bicycle you can ride all over the hotel . The hotel have lots of activities where you don’t get board such as camel riding , horse riding , star gazing and nature walk to see the animals also the falcon show comes free with the booking . Their service is very good and they are so friendly with the guests . They have also a club car where you can move easily over the hotel. I would like to thank Mr. Amr for his kindness and his help .
We stayed 2 nights. It was wonderful, the room with a private pool, desert view was so pleasant. The bed was super confortable. We tried their 2 restaurants. The oriental was delicious and the service was perfect. The steak house was tasty, but unfortunately the service was below expectations. We really appreciated the service in General. The team (from the gardener to the reception) adorable and very polite. I hope we could do this experience another time. Thank you again
Great location for couples, it was really a very pleasant stay, the welcome which we got since we get out of the car by zeeshan and then escorting us to the guy in the reception huseen and his amazing attitude then our fabulous room with a sunset view. Thank you ritz Carlton for making our stay memorable, 100% i will be back♥️♥️
Disappointing details letting this hotel down
For a hotel at this price point, especially in the UAE, I expect exceptional service in every respect. Unfortunately that was not the experience we had. The room and hotel were beautiful, although there were a few items in the villa which were in disrepair (one of the interior sliding doors couldn't be closed, shelf next to the coffee machine was loose and nearly falling off its stand). Moreover, when we checked in we found a plastic bag which looked like it had a dirty nappy in it in the back yard area of the room, and I had to report this to reception twice before it was removed. Moreover, we found that one of the shower gel tubes had not been replaced, it was half empty. At any time this is not acceptable for a hotel at this price point, but in pandemic times it is truly unforgiveable. The staff were very friendly and helpful, making us feel very welcome. However, we found that the service in the breakfast restaurant, especially on the first day of our stay, was again not up to the standard of this restaurant (we had to ask for our coffee and juice three times) and overall the food for breakfast was plentiful, but a little disappointing (in particular the Shakshouka). We really enjoyed the moonlight bar, but there was a pump somewhere on the property whirring away rather loudly all evening which rather ruined the ambience. The real highlight of the whole trip was the Famrhouse restaurant, the food was amazing, the restaurant was beautiful and it really did deliver on all fronts. Lastly, we did not get a great night sleep. The bed mattress was very soft and one of the curtains in the bedroom could not be closed completely so by around 8 o'clock we had a beam of sunlight poking us in the eyes, not really allowing us to have a much required lie in. Overall we had a nice stay, but there were too many slip ups that made us feel a little bit disappointed as we were driving home and not really convinced that this was money well spent. Shame.
Rooms : Lovely, large with private pools in all the villas. Although a little worn out and seemed over used, we enjoyed the privacy, the spacious luxury of it all. The cabinet behind the TV had a whole mess of wires which looked unappealing and lighting control was difficult to understand initially. could be brighter in the coves. Housekeeping team were quick and efficient. Service : Average. We mentioned several times that it was our daughter's birthday celebration trip, on email when we first came in. (email response was not great tbh. they asked us for activities, but when we responded were told to reach out separately to another department). As we were departing, we were handed a couple of balloons for her. some form of special celebration could have been organized, even at breakfast the day of departure. (she herself told people at dinner the previous evening and at checkin too) Activites : Horse riding, tours of the stables, bird of prey show was excellent. Davis was very nice and helpful who we met 3 times during our stay. Overall I'd say, the service and personal touch doesn't quite hold up towards the great product
