A Small Gem In Argentina's Patagonia Region
Eolo sits on the side of a sloping mountain on the Argentinian side of Patagonia. The views to the South (from the large windows of the living room) and to the East and West (from smaller tastefully appointed sitting rooms) are breathtaking. This small boutique hotel has only 17 rooms and a very intimate feel. The staff is young, enthusiastic and well-trained. And the food and wine (all included in the price) were exceptional. Take advantage of the hiking opportunities, and the day-long boat ride on Lago Argentina to see the glaciers is not to be missed. We highly recommend it.
Without competition, service suffers
The hotel is located on a great piece of property where u can hike and ride horses. Unfortunately, the service is cold and indifferent. The hotel is understaffed, and the staff they have must have been hired from the grumpy village. The rooms need renovation: The carpet and drapes were stained. On the positive side, and hence the 3 star, the food is outstanding.
Great place to stay
EOLO is a great place to stay, the lodge has great room’s, the food is first class, the staff are very friendly, you can go horse riding, bike riding,4x4ing or walk around the ranch Or just relax, they have a nice spa.
So Unique & Absolutely Spectacular!
Truly one of the most special, unique properties I’ve ever stayed at. You arrive to the hotel, which sits in one of the most expansive and remote settings and feel like you are the only person for miles. The property feels so intimate and the staff could not be more friendly and perfect. Very few hotels create such a sense of place that you never want to leave, and Eolo absolutely excels at this. I could not recommend this enough!!
Very nice, a relaxing reprieve, but still some imperfections
From the outside, the property does not look spectacular being corregated Steele. Inside the views are great and rooms are very well apportioned. The WIFI worked well. The gym was ok. Horseback riding was super fun. The food was good and well presented. Service was solid. A couple of comments, the staff is young and makes silly mistakes. We bought wine to take home and the sommelier brought the wine to our room at 23.15. Also, transfer was a disaster. We almost missed our flight. Overall, a really great experience with some minor issues.
