Perfect 2 days

Staff were ready and waiting for us on our arrival. We had a beautiful room (I don’t think there would be a bad one). It is 7km set back from the road and perched on a hill with a vista of the valley and mountains. Absolutely stunning. Horseback riding and Jeep ride were fun. Great spot to take off from for the Petit Moreno glacier. But most of all - the food and drink were top notch.

Wow!

What a beautiful and serene place. The service was exceptional and the food was out of this world. I highly recommend staying at EOLO as it is an experience. We had a corner room which I also highly recommend.

Peaceful

This hotel is in the middle of vast estancia and giving you great view of the surrounding. The service is excellent, with many activities can be done. Staffs are always ready to help. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included, and they always give us a lunchbox if we spend the day outside of the hotel. The food is amazing. Our room is in the corner, so we have two views, spacious room, no TV but you dont need one when you can admire the view from the room. Did the horseback riding around the estancia and it was great. Had a relaxing and peaceful time during our stay here.

Stunning property

This is very much a luxury stay on the land of an Estancia about 20 minutes from El Calafate. In a well designed building, with great common areas to relax, accommodation is spacious and well appointed, with some wonderful mountain or lake views. Menu choice was excellent, of high quality, as was the table service and staff attention throughout. Having been spoilt for choice at several other all inclusive stays, my only complaint here was a lack of clarity and organisation around the choice of activities that could be undertaken from EOLO. For this area, with the main attraction being the Glacier National Park, I will likely suggest friends stay in town rather than the isolation of EOLO. All the activities offered by EOLO, can be done from anywhere. However, if isolation and relaxation is what you want, EOLO has it in spades. If they had offered a free regular city shuttle service, my rating would have been a 5.

Unique location and very classy

Previous reviewers have summed up Eolo very accurately It is a very class act and has such a lot going for it The location is incredible and the scenic views from each window of the property [and there are lots] are remarkable. Particularly at sunrise the animal and bird life was great as well, eagles, foxes, hares and an armadillo scurrying around The bar and outdoor terrace were superb As others have confirmed, the food and wines are very good indeed and generous, the horse riding is fun and the spa is good We also enjoyed extra paid activities of yoga, massage, the zip line and a four wheel mountain sunset drive which were all great fun Two nights stay then off for a full day at the unmissable Perito Moreno glacier nearby worked well for us Service was good solid and professional rather than 5* outstanding. We experienced much more passionate and caring commitment to guests enjoying themselves at other less blessed properties in our multi location trip and we really hope Eolo doesn’t go anywhere near resting on its beautiful laurels !!
