AMAZING AND UNFORGETTABLE PLACE
The perfect environment meets a great architecture, service, and confortable rooms. For the moment you enter in the hotel, you can feel a unique experience. A must, have dinner in the rooftop watching the mountains, the vineyards and the sky. Don t forget to ask them to light a fire for you! The spa has the perfect combination of peaceful and luxury. The people, the food, the flowers, every detail count in Cavas.
Espectacular hotel, wonderful service, food and the rooms are just a blast. Highly recommended. I ve been living in the US for a long time and come to my hometown every year, finding places like this, makes me feel so proud and happy that any tourist will be enjoying the beauty of the vineyards an espectacular view of the Andes.
What a hidden treasure!!!!
Our "room" was bigger and many local homes...had a living room/large bedroom/ small "bar" area/large walk in closet and huge bathroom with clawfoot tub and rock shower. In addition, a private patio with a "splash pool" and outdoor shower...PLUS a rooftop deck...both indoor/outdoor fireplaces...
Do not miss this opportunity!
My husband and I planned a trip to Argentina from the US. I thought it would be our once-in-a-lifetime experience in that country (now I hope to return!) and we picked lodging and activites with that in mind. Cavas is unique among the several luxury properties we visited: Two people have their own personal retreat in among the vines, a suite in a separate, sculptured concrete villa with a rooftop terrace/fireplace/outlook over the vineyards, completely private. The property is 20 minutes outside of Mendoza, so quiet and peaceful! The restaurant on-site is an experience on its own- some of the most balanced, visually appealing, and truly tasty and tasteful meals of our month-long experience. One can simply retreat to the expansive villa with wine, immersion pool, vines, fireplace, tranquility - and dine on site - or spend all or part of the day touring any of the hundreds of vineyards in the region. We spent almost a month in Argentina, three day at Cavas. DoOver: I would spend at least a week at Cavas with a couple days just on the property (one must accept the idea of truly retreating and relaxing, as one is on an enchanted "vineyard island") and then spend at least three days exploring vineyards - more if your schedule allows. Cecilia and Martin have created a treasure, from decor, dedicated staff, ambiance, food, and overall attention to detail for a luxury experience.
An absolute must
This hotel is a five star property. Every thing about it is first class. The location, 20 minutes outside Mendoza, is breathtaking—vineyards with the Andes in the background. The architecture, the art, the spa—just can’t be beat! Service is world class, they will set up any excursions you desire; good chef, superb wine. Don’t miss it while in Argentina.
