Loved the location of the hotel in the jungle
The hotel was selected by our travel agent in Australia. Was surprised at the higher standard of the hotel as our other hotels were not of that class. Loved the hotel setting and that we had a little veranda where we could sit and listen to the jungle noises. Our room was quite a walk from the reception which made it difficult with no lifts to carry our luggage to the room. (we didn’t carry the luggage, the reception staff did). Although the hotel was situated a short distance from the town centre, the taxi service from the hotel, was very convenient. For our return trip there were plenty of taxis in the town. The breakfast buffet seemed very disorganized and was always running out of bread and butter and other items. We weren’t informed that we could have a hot meal for breakfast. After returning from our trips to the falls we enjoyed the energiser drinks served by the friendly staff. The last evening we had dinner at the hotel but with a large crowd and the tables being very close together we found it very noisy
Good base for the falls.
Ths hotel was selected by our tour company. situated in the forest a short taxi ride from the town where there are plenty of dining options, shops etc. The hotel itself is well appointed with comfortable rooms and helpful staff. The hotel restaurant is aso of a good standard. Our only criticisms were the hit or miss service in both the main hotel bar and the poolside bar. Generally quite slow.
Great pick by our tour company!
Very nice room an upscale property about 20 minutes from the park entrance and less than 10 minutes to dining in ‘town’ (try La Rueda!). The room has a balcony ( as I believe all rooms do). The service here is just fantastic! Every single person was helpful, even those who don’t speak English for those Americans (or others to be fair) who only speak one language. The king size bed is super comfy, the bathroom large with bidet and rain/handheld shower. The included breakfast buffet was nothing special, but good selections. You can order eggs/omelettes, which we figured out too late... We spent our last morning lounging at the pool, which also has a good size jacuzzi.
A Very Professional Run Hotel.
A typical 'chain hotel' that maintains very good standards. Set off a minor road in the forest. The rooms, mostly in two storeys blocks (lifts) go out like 'wheel spokes' from the main hub of the reception, spa and restaurant. Some of the rooms a quite a walk from the hub. Helpful reception staff took us to the room and explained all it's equipment and operations, they were a good size with a nice furnished balcony. The pool is between 2 spokes and is a good size with a number of sunbeds and a few shades. There are numerous trees around the pool which offer additional shade. The manning of the pool bar is a bit hit or miss. Breakfast, which starts at 6am, offers an adequate choice. Dinner, which goes on until midnight, has a good menu, we found their steak and pork shoulder very good and the idea of choosing 3 items from the 6 offered, for their salad option was a hit. We had a bit of trouble when we wanted our meal choices brought to the table (we choose one starters as a main course) so getting your message across to the staff needs to be strong. A busy two days here but we enjoyed our stay and were very well looked after.
i loved this hotel and its facilities. great pool great poolside bar and such a restful atmosphere especially around sunset. great room and good dining facilities make it the complete get away. nothing seemed too much trouble for the staff. we stayed here in preparation for a trip the iguazu falls.
