Great hotel in great location
Room on first floor was very nice. Room service was great. Hotel restaurant food and price were excellent. Unlimited premium channels on TV were great anytime, Breakfast buffet was terrific. Very nice courtyard seating area. Great views from top floor pool area. Nice hot tub pool located near swimming pool.
The hotel is great, cozy room, and perfect localization: there are several sights by a walking distance. The neighborhood is pleasant and served by good restaurants. No negative points in my experience.
Good Service – good location – but room for improvement
Hotel Madero is on the upper end of the Porto Madero area - quite calm for Buenos Aires but in good distances to the city. The staff of the hotel is very good and nice and they do a good job. The hotel has a good design in most of the locations inside. But the house overall has some problems they should solve because they destroy lot of the good impression: examples: Pool Area is run down and not in a pleasant condition; Court-restaurant outside needs a more pleasant look and feel (today it is not in line with the rest of the hotel); Rooms (we were there 3 times in different rooms but had always the same problems): there is no cold water running - both taps deliver warm or hot water; the coffee machine (Nespresso) in the room is offered with 2(!) coffee-patches - for more you have to call the reception and pay some pennies for additional ones which seems very shabby for such a hotel...; Bathrobes are in a bad condition - worn out....
A Fantastic Hotel to stay at while in Buenos Aires
We stayed for 4 nights at this lovely hotel Everything is first class The staff are very friendly and efficient in every department and look after all your needs The Red Restaurant was great for dinner on arrival and lots to do in the area I wish to single out Sebastian who planned a couple of top restaurants pre our arrival and was a great help throughout our stay Definitely worth considering this hotel when in BA
Very knowledgeable and helpful reception staff!
We stayed in this conveniently located, quiet, modern hotel for six nights during our first visit to Buenas Aires. Sebastian the concierge, could not have been more accommodating in helping us to arrange tickets for tours, a visit to the Teatro Colon opera house, reservations to local restaurants, some smaller local gems, and to an excellent tango show which did not involve dinner. His suggestions, logistical support, and travel arrangements were based on sound research and knowledge. All of the front desk staff and even the waitress and waiters in their restaurant provided excellent service and were willing to translate any item on the menu or answer any question. It was a pleasure to stay here because we were so well taken care of.
