Romantic and Relaxing
Our June vacation went from 7 nights to 9 nights when our return flight was cancelled by the airline. We decided to transfer from our first resort and come to Keyonna Beach Resort for the additional 2 nights. Keyonna is a small boutique property. We stayed in #30. We were surprised and delighted they added a touch of romance by having fresh flowers and petals on the bed and around the bathroom. We loved the outdoor showers and that they had individual temperature controls. Our mini fridge and bar were stocked with our preferences when we arrived. The foot wash bowl outside our door was a thoughtful touch. It was emptied and refreshed daily. The dining areas are picturesque settings and the meals were well above average. We were very impressed with the quality of the food we were served. The beach and water were beautiful, romantic and the ultimate in relaxation. Part of this is the small size of the property, so there were very few people around. However, our favorite feature was that every couple had their own beach cabana and loungers. The cabanas were perfect for reading and napping. Bar service at the beach was amazing. We were asked for a drink order within 5 minutes of being on the beach and they checked on us at regular intervals. We’d return in a heartbeat. Highly Recommended.
Get away from it all at Keyonna Beach Resort
Beautiful location right on Turner's Beach, white sand, blue seas and a really relaxed atmosphere. The people are naturally friendly and the rustic cottages are great, especially the large bathroom and the novel outdoor showers. The food is a la carte, no buffets here, and the evening menu did not repeat for 7 days with good choice, really well presented and tasted wonderful with a selection of good wines regularly topped up! A special mention to Sean the manager, and Odeal and Gerri-Lee, but everyone made us feel most welcome. I have noted the sleep quality as excellent, but if you are a light sleeper you may want to take earplugs as the crickes and frogs can be quite noisy at night, but you are on a tropical island! It is also good that there are no televisions or radios in the rooms so you can really unwind and we didn't hear the word Brexit once all week. We would definitely consider returning to Keyonna Beach Resort.
Amazing Honeymoon at Keyonna Beach Resort
Incredible. My wife and I spent our honeymoon here. It was perfect. The only thing that matched the location and views were the amazing staff. We also work in the hospitality industry, so it was a special treat to be on this side of things. Everyone went above and beyond. Even when full, they made us feel like the only ones there. The food was fresh and varied. My wife is a picky eater and she never left the table hungry. This is luxury resort pricing, BUT WORTH EVERY PENNY!! A shout out to a few people who made our stay; Dayon, Gilda, Sean, Raul, Alridge, Odeal and Joan
Awesome place for a chilled couples escape, great beach right outside your door and a caring , efficient and friendly team ensure your holiday experience is one to remember. Well thought out menus varying every day and some great specials, especially the fish . Would highly recommend this laid back resort
Only fault was I put on weight!
I must admit when we arrived I was concerned that this was a very rustic looking hotel and maybe not the luxury stay I was hoping for - I was wrong. The staff I want to say straight away - absolutely all of them were warm and friendly and had a laugh with us as they got to know that's who we are. Food - 5 star plus - I have food intolerance's and they made sure it was ok for me with the chef each time and even made me special puddings - hence I put on weight, but oh boy it was worth every mouthful. Often too an all inclusive hotel has cheaper drinks on offer than you'd get at home, but no these had wonderful wines and spirits on offer, and we made good in roads into the cocktail list. Rohan the wine man also became our close friend. We had a garden room and it was a very comfortable bed with plenty of room for all our stuff and a lovely sitting out veranda to enjoy the hotter afternoons with our gin and tonic or rum and coke out of our well stocked room fridge. I also highly recommend that you book a personal tour of the island with Grayson - our Kuoni representative recommended him, but I think he's known to the hotel too - he did us a wonderful tour of the history and beautiful views of the island and it made our stay really special. The beach is beautiful and well kept and the Bali beds were wonderful to enjoy the view and keep out of the sun on. The pool looks like it could do with a little face lift around the edges but was cooler in the afternoons than the beach for me and often we were the only ones there as the beach rooms have their own mini pools, but it was a nice space to use. I would happily go back.
