The Seagrape, a beachfront restaurant just steps from the water’s edge, has been recently renovated and offers lunch buffets and a weekly beach-barbecue lunch accompanied by a live steel-pan band. The venue becomes an elegant dinner venue serving delicious Italian and local cuisine right on the sand. The Tamarind Restaurant has also been refurbished, with an open-walled plantation style setting and serving a five-course dinner menu that changes nightly, accompanied by a live band. The Beach Café and Bar serves delicious lunch buffets and hosts a Monday-night barbecue right on the sand. Afternoon tea is served on the stone Sugar Mill terrace overlooking the pretty gardens. If you are a wine connoisseur then it is worth splashing out on a tasting or tour with the resident sommelier at the unique Wine Cellar which houses some 450 specially selected wines from around the world and 12 different Champagnes.
