A relaxing holiday with a free spa treatment every day and various classes and activities offered throughout your stay to relax and rejuvenate was the promise and this hotel didn’t disappoint. From massages to facials, hydrotherapy to body scrubs we sampled them all throughout the stay and even took part in some of the fitness classes when we could tear ourselves away from our sunbeds. Afternoon tea was accompanied by a saxophonist to really add to the chilled-out vibe and if you are really lucky you may end up sharing a cocktail or two with a celeb!"

Spring Sail (04 Mar-01 Apr) BodyHoliday has launched a new sailing club with six Hobie Cat boats and two new X-Treme 26 racing yachts. This intensive one-week programme will be hosted by Great Britain's Olympic sailor Saskia Clark and is suitable for all abilities. It offers everything from introductory  lessons for beginners to competitive regattas for more experienced sailors.

Yoga Masterclass (18 Mar-01 Apr) Fitness and holistic instructor, Trevor Laurency will be teaching a yoga masterclass that includes t'ai chi, hatha yoga, yoga and meditation, yoga tone, yogalates (a combination of yoga and Pilates) Ashtanga yoga, stress management and relaxation therapy.

WellFit (01-15 Apr) This intensive, one-week bespoke training programme aims to transform your body, attitude and approach to a healthy lifestyle. It will be hosted by group fitness presenters, conditioning coaches and guest athletes such as four-time British Olympian, Donna Fraser. The programme will encourage you to create a lasting change and meet your health and fitness goals.

Jive June (03 Jun-01 Jul) June is dedicated to dance with 19 daytime dance and dance-fitness classes per week and guest presenters including Robin Windsor of Strictly Come Dancing fame. Dance for fun and fitness with a range of classes including zumba,  disco aerobics, street dance, foxtrot, dance step, hip hop, aqua dance, jive, salsa, Argentine tango, merengue, Latin aerobics and cha cha cha. Enjoy three themed dance evenings and a weekly zumba party and beach party.

WellFit Families (17 Jun-01 Jul) During this family-friendly fitness week you can develop your physical fitness, strength and stamina with bespoke beach bootcamps led by Olympic athletes. The session will also include yoga classes to help achieve flexibility, mental focus and mindfulness; an outdoor fitness traill and a Quadrathlon. Youll also get to learn new skills, such as first aid CPR, basic sailing and healthy cooking.

September offers solo travellers the best elements of health, wellbeing and fun in the company of other like-minded travellers who are looking for rejuvenation and relaxation. It is open to guests staying in Single Garden Rooms and includes hosted dinners and dedicated fitness classes.

Octoba Yoga (30 Sep-28 Oct) Escape from the stresses of everyday life and reconnect your body and mind during a month of specialist yoga classes for all abilities, from beginners to advanced yogis. Enjoy unlimited lessons with experienced teachers from sunrise to sunset. Classes include Ashtanga, Shanthi and Katti yoga, and meditation. A dedicated menu of healthy yogic foods and teas will be served at the restaurants and a range of special massages and therapeutic treatments will be available at the Wellness Centre.

WellFit  (28 Oct-18 Nov) WellFit is an intensive one-week bootcamp programme hosted by world-class fitness presenters, conditional coaches and guest athletes.

SwimFit (10 Nov) This four-day programme (extra cost) is for guests who want to improve their swimming technique, efficiency and speed. Guest athletes include three-time Olympian and Double World Champion Open Water Swimmer Keri-Anne Payne and former Olympic swimmer David Carry. The programme includes three group swimming lessons, a private lesson, a swim technique video analysis, night swim, entry to the ‘One Mile Swim’ event, performance planning session, performance nutrition demonstration and a goodie bag.
