Accommodation on tour

  All hotels are at least Four Star throughout the superior tour, and Three Star throughout the standard tour. All hotels have a swimming pool with the exception of your hotel in Nuwara Eliya. On occasion, it may be necessary to amend the itinerary.

Meals on tour

Prices include breakfast throughout, lunch on Days 2, 3, 4, 9 and 11, dinner on Day 2 to Day 10. Breakfast only in Maldives.

Tour Guide

Sri Lanka Explorer Tour is escorted by a local guide from Day 2 to arrival at your beach hotel on Day 12 or your departure from the airport. On the extensions, assistance is provided by our local representatives.

Gratuities

Tipping is common practice in Sri Lanka. We recommend small amounts for porterage and slightly larger amounts for your driver and guide, if you are happy with the service.


Travel Tips

A sun hat is recommended during your climb of Sigiriya Rock and take lots of water!
