In a beautiful lakeside location in the central Dickoya highlands, aprrox 2 hours from Colombo airport.

Soak up the cosy atmosphere with polished floors, log fires and lofty ceilings. The colonial theme continues with authentic period furnishing, butler service, croquet lawns and a summer house - and the resident tea planter will show you the centuries-old trea making process. There are also three swimming pools and trekking, biking, water rafting, rock climbing and golf can be arranged.

Four restored tea planters' bungalows, between 4 and 15km apart. • All rooms have ensuite bathrooms with twin washbasins and a traditional bathtub with shower. A communal TV with a selection of classic DVDs is available. • All bungalows have Wi-Fi. • Master suites have separate living rooms and private gardens (except Tientsin). • Garden suites have private gardens. Norwood Bungalow has 1 Master suite, 2 Garden suites and 2 Luxury rooms, plus a swimming pool, summer house, library, croquet and garden dining. Summerville Bungalow has 1 Master suite, 2 Garden Suites and 1 Luxury room, plus a summer house, sunbathing deck and garden dining.
