Wengen snow hotels
This traditional mountain resort is picturesque, friendly, with easy access to a large and varied ski region and also very popular with non-skiers. This village is spread out along a sunny ledge at the foot of the Jungfrau overlooking simply one of the best mountain panorama in the Alps. The extensive skiing is a paradise for intermediates and links up with Grindelwald to provide some lovely long pistes; you can even try out the famous Lauberhorn World Cup run! Mountain restaurants are plentiful, and there are several popular bars along the main street. Wengen is ideal for families and beginners, with its nursery slopes within the village and a non-ski Kindergarten. Non-skiers have 12 miles of cleared paths and the unique journey to the Jungfraujoch. There are also sleigh rides, a toboggan run, skating/curling rink and a cinema.
