Arosa snow hotels
Charming village and traditional Grisons resort Arosa is one of the highest Swiss resorts with very good skiing on mostly south-facing slopes and famed for its beautiful views over the surrounding high peaks. Ideal for beginners, intermediates, mixed ability groups and families, Arosa has two well-linked ski areas with panoramic restaurants at each one. The village and runs are linked by an efficient free bus service. One of the best alpine resorts for non-skiers with 18 miles of cleared paths. There are horse drawn sleigh rides, hot air balloon trips, tobogganing, bowling, skating, curling and hotel swimming pools. Après ski is varied and informal with smart cafés, bars, shops and excellent hotel restaurants. The Kursaal complex houses the newest nightclub as well as a casino and cinema.
