Your little pirates will adore the colossal waterslides and lazy river, kids-only swim-up soda bar, plunge pools and whirlpools, waterfall pool and misting pool, rainforest game room, 50s-style diner and ice cream machines.
Comprehensive childcare facilities
Beaches resorts put a quite breathtaking amount of thought and effort into their childcare amenities and activities, tailored to specific age groups.
Infants (0-2 years) there are climate controlled nurseries, filled with cribs, strollers, high chairs and simply everything the little ones could ever need or desire, all under the watchful eye of certified child development specialists, ‘Ultra Nannies’ (daily 9am-6pm).
Toddlers (3-5 years) will have a blast at Kids Kamp, also supervised by Ultra Nannies. They can paddle in dedicated pools, go shell collecting, try face painting and treasure hunting, enjoy puppet making and costume time, magic shows, sandcastle building and more.
Children (6-7 years) will love their very own set of Kids Kamp activities, including baseball, kickball, swimming, arts and crafts demonstrations and workshops, nature walks, glass bottom boat rides to discover a vibrant underwater world, movies and dancing – the list goes on and on.
Pre-teens (8-12 years) will find an outlet for their energy at Beaches with an unending slew of fun-filled activities. With sailing, snorkelling and glass bottom boat excursions, beach volleyball and soccer, scavenger hunts, reggae jam sessions and much more, the challenge will be fitting it all in.
Teens (13 and above) are never patronised, just provided with their own spaces and places from soda bars to their own ‘nightclub’ with disco and karaoke. Entertainment waits in the form of group watersports, boat cruises, pool Olympics, tennis lessons, dance parties and talent shows.
After Kids Kamp closes, professional nanny care is offered to guests at a small charge. Children with special needs may require the exclusive attention of a nanny – this service is offered (also at a small charge) so that they can also participate in all activities with the special care and support they need. Most restaurants at Beaches resorts offer children’s menus, and many have dedicated dining areas with child-size tables and chairs.
† Themed breakfasts and parties at extra cost.
