Dining
There is an excellent selection of elegant restaurants. Evening ŕ la carte dining is found in the International, Japanese, Italian and South Western Grill restaurants in the Caribbean Grove. New at the Mediterranean Village is another Italian restaurant offering al fresco dining, a traditional English pub with authentic favourites such as bangers and mash, a wood-fired oven Pizzeria and 'Barefoot by the Sea', with relaxed dining overlooking the bar and nightclub, with its theme evenings and live local bands.
Activities and facilities
A wide variety of activities is available both land and water-based including:
- Hobie cat sailing, kayaking, windsurfing with professional tuition provided.
- Snorkelling with professional tuition provided.
- Scuba diving is also included for PADI certified divers while beginners can complete a resort or full certification course at extra cost.
- Fully equipped fitness centre, floodlit tennis, volleyball, darts, table tennis, bocceball and board games.
- Whirlpools and swimming pools, two with swim-up bars, including the huge pool at the Mediterranean Village, the largest in the eastern Caribbean.
- The Red LaneŽ Spa offers you the chance to indulge with treatments of your choice (at extra cost).
Accommodation
Rooms and suites are located in the Caribbean Grove (193) or the new Mediterranean Village (180) where all accommodation is either junior or one bedroom suites and comes with concierge services. All are beautifully appointed with air-conditioning, kingsize bed, telephone, television, CD/clock radio, amenity kit, coffee maker, minifridge and bar unit, bath, shower. The Garden of Eden Deluxe rooms are in the Caribbean Grove and have views of the gardens and a terrace.
Concierge rooms and suites
Concierge rooms and suites are some of the best at the resort and all have the services of the Concierge Centre for VIP check-in and dinner reservations, mahogany four poster bed, bathrobes and in-room bar. Butler Service is included in certain room categories.
Caribbean Grove
Honeymoon Luxury Concierge Rooms are spacious with views of the gardens and pool. Honeymoon Veranda Junior Suites include an additional sitting area and have views of the ocean, pool and/or gardens. Grande Luxe Beachfront Concierge Rooms have facilities as above with balcony or terrace overlooking the pool, beach and sea. Honeymoon Garden Rondovals with Private Plunge Pool are circular rooms set in the gardens. Butler Service included.
Mediterranean Village
Portofino Junior Suites are beautiful rooms with sitting area and garden views. Venetian Oceanview Junior Suites are as these but with ocean, pool and garden views. Mediterranean Penthouse One Bedroom Oceanview Suites are sumptuous and spacious with a separate living room and large balcony giving panoramic views of the Mediterranean Village and Dickenson Bay. Butler Service included.
