Itinerary
- Nairobi: 1 night

Day 1 London/Nairobi
Depart Heathrow with Kenya Airways overnight to Nairobi. On arrival you will be transferred to the enchanting Ngong house for the night.
Day 3 Nairobi/Laikipia
Enjoy breakfast before your transfer to Wilson airport for your light aircraft flight to Loisaba via Nanyuki. Upon arrival you will be met by your host and their wonderful team of Masai and Samburu guides who have created a very special place in Loisaba. Constructed from stone, cedar and thatch the lodge is perched high on the edge of the plateau looking south towards Mount Kenya. You will spend three nights at Loisaba Lodge, on the edge of the animal rich Laikipia Plateau and one night under the moonlight at the ‘Star Beds’. The ‘Star Beds’, one of the most original, romantic and exhilarating of places in Africa are private, raised, handcrafted wooden platforms sculptured high into a kopje of rocks and semi covered with a thatched roof. Homemade beds can either be wheeled out onto the semi covered area for a night under the stars, or left under the shelter of the roofs. The activities you may enjoy during your stay at Loisaba include day and night game drives, horse and camel riding, bushwalks, fishing, mountain bike rides, tennis and river canoeing (seasonal) and the health spa. Rooms at Loisaba feature french windows opening onto a private deck where the views are legendary and the waterhole below draws continuous wildlife. The lodge also has a swimming pool and croquet lawn.
Day 7 Laikipia/Samburu
After four wonderful nights at Loisaba, fly by Safarilink light aircraft to the Samburu National Reserve. One of the most exciting animals often seen in Samburu is the slender gerenuk, a long-necked antelope that stands on its hind legs to eat the leaves of trees and taller bushes. Elephant Camp is set on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River in Samburu National Reserve surrounded by doum palms and other beautiful indigenous trees and shrubs sits this small and exclusive camp of 12 luxury tents - all furnished in rustic African style while offering all the comforts expected of a luxury Camp (hot & cold running water, electricity and herbal products). The lounge and dining area offer vibrant safari colours with original oil paintings, soft intimate lighting designed to relax guests returning from an exciting game drive. Huge herds of elephant, prides of lion or the solitary leopard amongst other game are regular visitors around the camp providing excellent game viewing in spectacular scenic background of rugged rolling hills. Dining is a culinary experience with al-fresco breakfast, 3 course lunch and 4 course candle lit gourmet dinner set either under the African sky or inside the well appointed dining area.
Day 9 Samburu/Nairobi/London
After breakfast you will be transferred to the airstrip to board your Air Kenya flight to Nairobi’s Wilson airport. Relax at a day room (optional on request) before flying overnight back to London with Kenya Airways.
Kenya Coast Extension

Day 9 Samburu/Nairobi/Mombasa
From Nairobi, fly Kenya Airways to Mombasa for three nights or more at the Serena Beach hotel in a Garden room.
Day 12 Mombasa/Nairobi/London
Evening Kenya Airways flight to Heathrow, via Nairobi.
Masai Mara Extension

Masai Mara: 3 nights
Day 9 Samburu/Masai Mara
Fly Air Kenya from Samburu to the Masai Mara. Enjoy three days here at Governor’s main camp marvelling at the vast plains and abundance of wildlife. The tented camp offers a friendly and comfortable setting from which to enjoy game drives in the Mara.
Day 12 Masai Mara/Nairobi/London
After a morning game drive, fly Air Kenya to Nairobi before connecting with your evening Kenya Airways flight to London Heathrow.
