Day 1 London/Nairobi
Fly Kenya Airways overnight from Heathrow. Departures available daily
Day 2 Nairobi
On arrival transfer to the Nairobi Serena for one night
Day 3 Nairobi/Lake Naivasha
Drive north to Loldia House situated on the shores of Lake Naivasha. The beautiful colonial house, formerly a private home, has eight rooms and is a taste of early colonial Kenyan lifestyle. Relax, bird watch, enjoy walking or horse riding. Hippo are often grazing at the end of the lawn (approx. 56 miles).
Day 4 Lake Naivasha
Today remain at Loldia or visit Lake Nakuru National Park where flamingoes gather for much of the year. Enjoy a stylish picnic lunch overlooking the lake before returning to Loldia (approx. 50 miles).
Day 5 Lake Naivasha/Masai Mara
After a relaxing morning and delicious lunch overlooking the lake, fly by light aircraft (Safari Link or similar) to the Masai Mara. Enjoy three memorable nights at Governors’ Camp in tents set along the banks of the Mara River. The main dining area and bar is also under canvas – a great spot for watching elephants, hippo or crocodile bathing! You may upgrade to the smaller more intimate Little Governors'. Late afternoon game drive in the Mara escorted by professional driver/guides. Dinner and overnight.
Day 6 to Day 7 Masai Mara
Two full days to enjoy the Mara with early mid morning and afternoon game drives.
Day 8 Masai Mara/Nairobi/London
Early morning game drive before your flight back to Nairobi. Kenya Airways overnight flight to Heathrow arriving the following day.
Lake Victoria Extension

N.B. A small holdall only, per person can be taken on the flight to Lake Victoria, the remainder of your luggage will be reunited with you at Governor's airstrip prior to your connecting flight Mfangano / Governor's airstrip / Nairobi
Day 8 Masai Mara/Lake Victoria
Early morning game drive then fly by light aircraft to the remote and beautiful Mfangano island in Lake Victoria. Enjoy a short boat ride to the beautiful Mfangano Island Camp. This tranquil haven of peace has six rooms with breathtaking views over the lake and four poster beds. Enjoy two nights relaxing, marvelling at the bird life, fishing and traditional culture.
Day 10 Lake Victoria/Masai Mara/Nairobi/London
Return to Nairobi, via the Mara, by light aircraft. Kenya Airways overnight flight to Heathrow, arriving the next morning.

A second chance to see the gorillas before lunch and return to the Kigali Serena. (B)
