The Cheetah Safari is our most popular safari covering a wide area and is designed to show you the very best in Kenya including Samburu, the Rift Valley and the Masai Mara. The first class option stays at the beautiful lodges managed by Serena with flights by British Airways.

Itinerary
- Nairobi: 1 night

Day 1 Fri London/Nairobi
British Airways scheduled flight from Heathrow. On arrival transfer to the Nairobi Serena and overnight
Day 2 Sat Nairobi/Samburu
Drive to Samburu with lunch en route enjoying a game drive in the afternoon. Overnight at Samburu Serena lodge (approx. 195 miles).
Day 3 Sun Samburu
Morning and afternoon game drives in Samburu National Park. Overnight Samburu Serena.
Day 4 Mon Samburu/Mt Kenya
Drive to Mt Kenya National Park and the beautifully set Serena Mountain Lodge. Set under the slopes of Mt Kenya in an opening amongst dense forest, the lodge enjoys its own water hole frequented by wildlife day and night (approx. 100 miles).
Day 5 Tue Mt Kenya/Lake Nakuru
Drive via Thomson’s Falls to Lake Nakuru for a game drive and lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the national park and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge (approx. 180 miles),
Day 6 Wed Lake Nakuru/Masai Mara
After breakfast drive to the Masai Mara Game Reserve with lunch en route. Overnight at Mara Serena Lodge (approx. 185 miles).
Day 7 Thu Masai Mara
A full day in the Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. You may take an optional Balloon Safari over the Mara. The Mara Serena is well located close to the Mara River in one of the best locations for game viewing.
Day 8 Fri Masai Mara/Nairobi/London
Depart after breakfast arriving in time for a delicious lunch at Lord Eroll Restaurant (approx. 180 miles). British Airways flight to Heathrow arriving the following day.
Fly Option
Cheetah Safari Serena - First Class
Kenya Coast: 3 nights
Fly Masai Mara/Nairobi: You may if you wish end or extend your Cheetah Safari by flying from the Mara to Nairobi. The additional cost per person would be approximately £133-£152 (prices at Mar 2007). No reduction would be given for the basic safari transport and the baggage allowance is 15Kgs in soft luggage.
Kenya Coast Extension
Cheetah Safari Serena - First Class: 7 nights
Kenya Coast: 3 nights
Day 8 Fri Masai Mara/Nairobi/Mombasa
Either fly direct from the Mara (Fly option). Otherwise an early evening flight from Nairobi on Kenya Airways to Mombasa and transfer to the excellent Serena Beach for three or more nights.
Day 11 Mon Mombasa/Nairobi/London
This afternoon fly to Nairobi, to connect with your British Airways flight to Heathrow arriving the following day.
Zanzibar Extension

Nairobi: 1 night
Zanzibar: 3 nights
Day 8 Fri Masai Mara/Nairobi
Overnight at the Nairobi Serena.
Day 9 Sat Nairobi/Zanzibar
Kenya Airways flight to Zanzibar and three or more nights at Breezes Beach Club (STD)
Day 12 Tue Zanzibar/Nairobi/London
Kenya Airways flight to Heathrow via Nairobi arriving the following day.
