Day 1 to Day 2 London/Nairobi
Kenya Airways overnight flight from Heathrow to Nairobi.
Day 2 to Day 3 Nairobi
On arrival transfer to the Giraffe Manor in the leafy suburbs for one night.
Day 3 to Day 4 Nairobi/Tsavo West
Fly Safarilink to Tsavo West, home to over 50,000 elephants and landscapes of beautiful rolling hills and open plains. Spend two nights at the luxurious Finch Hattons camp, set under canvas with raised decks overlooking natural springs and where six-course dinners are served under chandeliers (collared shirts and trousers required).
Day 4 to Day 5 Tsavo West
Morning and afternoon game drives today from Finch Hattons.
Day 5 to Day 6 Tsavo West/Tsavo East
Leave for Tsavo East National Park and two nights at Galdessa camp, where eight spacious ‘bandas’ are set overlooking the river. Each is beautifully furnished using local fabrics with en suite bathroom and a canvas drum shower. Lunch is followed by a game drive in search of the elusive predators.
Day 6 to Day 7 Tsavo East
A final day’s game viewing in the Park with morning and afternoon game drives offering wonderful photographic opportunities.
Day 7 Nairobi/London
If returning home today you fly Safarilink back to Nairobi for one night at Giraffe Manor, then Kenya Airways flight to Heathrow the next evening. Or continue by road to the coast for three nights at Funzi Keys, with lunch en route.
