Kenya Experience is a short safari and beach combination, great for those wanting to spend most of the time at the beach whilst not missing the opportunity to view Kenya’s magnificent wildlife.

Itinerary

Day 1 Mon London/Mombasa
Kenya Airways overnight flight from Heathrow to Mombasa via Nairobi arriving the following day.
Day 2 Tue Mombasa
On arrival transfer to the Travellers Club, Mombasa for one night. Enjoy this medium class resort’s facilities and All Inclusive food and drink before your safari begins on Wednesday.
Day 3 Wed Mombasa/Tsavo East
Board your safari vehicle and drive to Tsavo East, one of Kenya’s largest and most beautiful national parks covering over 4,000 square miles. On entering the park enjoy a game drive en route to lunch at Voi Safari Lodge, set high on a cliff with stunning views across the plains. Continue the game drive in the afternoon when you are likely to meet herds of elephant, zebra and other plains game. The elephants here are famous for their reddish appearance, a result of the natural soil colour. Continue out of the park for your overnight stay at Voi Wildlife Lodge. (approx. 70 miles driving today).
Day 4 Thu Tsavo East/Taita Hills
After breakfast your journey takes you to the Taita Hills sanctuary and the Salt Lick lodge, set high on stilts overlooking a floodlit waterhole. An afternoon game drive follows lunch with the chance to spot resident cheetah or lion. The evening at Salt Lick is a relaxed affair watching animals such as elephant and warthog drinking from the waterhole. (approx. 30 miles).
Day 5 Fri Taita Hills/Tsavo West
Drive to Tsavo West along the undulating savannah and game viewing on the way. Sightings will probably include giraffe and zebra. On one game drive you will visit Mzima Springs, famous for it’s hippos. Overnight at the Kilaguni lodge managed by Serena. (approx. 55 miles).
Day 6 Sat Tsavo/Mombasa
Return to the Mombasa Coast for three nights back at Travellers Club.
Day 9 Tue Mombasa/London
Kenya Airways overnight flight to Heathrow arriving the next day.
