Day 1 Mon London/Mombasa
Kenya Airways overnight flight from Heathrow to Mombasa via Nairobi, arriving the following day.
Day 2 Tue Mombasa
On arrival transfer to Travellers Club, Mombasa for three nights on an All Inclusive basis.
Day 5 Fri Mombasa/Taita Hills
Depart from the coast in your safari vehicle to Taita Hills Sanctuary for a short game drive then lunch at Taita Hills lodge. An afternoon game drive follows when you have the opportunity to enjoy the vast landscapes of Kenya and seek out the elusive predators before arriving at Salt Lick lodge in Taita Hills for one night. A favourite pastime here is sipping a cool drink on the bar terrace and waiting for the animals to come to you at the floodlit waterhole below. (approx. 120 miles).
Day 6 Sat Taita Hills/Amboseli
After breakfast depart northwest for the beautiful Amboseli National Park. En route watch out for Africa’s most recognisable landmark, the snow-capped Mt Kilimanjaro, which makes a fabulous backdrop for your wildlife photography. After lunch at Ol Tukai lodge enjoy an afternoon game drive sighting the prolific bird life and huge herds of elephants. Overnight at Ol Tukai. (approx. 200 miles).
Day 7 Sun Amboseli
Today enjoy two game drives in Amboseli and some time to relax in the magical atmosphere of the African bush. Perhaps today you could spot the fragile and endangered cheetah. Overnight at Ol Tukai Lodge (approx. 40 miles).
Day 8 Mon Amboseli/Tsavo West
After breakfast drive west to Tsavo West National Park enjoying game viewing en route, and arrive in time for lunch at Kilaguni Lodge. The afternoon game drive takes you to Mzima Springs where the loud chuntering of the hippos echos all around. Return to Kilaguni Lodge for one night. (approx. 150 miles).
Day 9 Tsavo West/Mombasa
Following a hearty breakfast there is time for one final game drive in Tsavo West before departing for the coast, with lunch en route at Voi Wildlife Lodge. The return to the Mombasa Coast and the Travellers Club for seven nights. Relax by the freeform pool or enjoy watersports on the warm Indian Ocean before you return home.
Day 16 Tue Mombasa/London
Kenya Airways overnight flight to Heathrow via Nairobi.
