Itinerary
- Standard Option - Busanga Bush Camp: 2 nights
- Superior Option - Kapinga or Shumba Camps: 2 nights
Day 1 Livingstone/Kafue National Park
You are collected from your Livingstone hotel for the light aircraft flight (Sefofane or similar) to the Kafue National Park, Zambia’s oldest and the second largest in the world - approximately the size of Wales. The park sustains a huge diversity of wildlife from red lechwe and sable antelopes to the accompanying predators as well as superb birdlife attracted by the many rivers. Enjoy a two to three hour game drive from the airstrip to Busanga Bush Camp (standard option) for two nights. Lying in the Busanga plains in the far north of the park, one of the few areas in the world that remain untouched by human activity, it houses just eight guests in four tents that have wall to wall views of the spectacular wildlife that frequents the plains in front of the camp. Kapinga and Shumba camps (superior option) are also in the Busanga region and feature luxurious safari tents with indoor and outdoor showers. Enjoy day or night game drives and the camps hospitable atmospheres in this true wilderness land.
Day 3 Kafue National Park/Livingstone
Return game drive to the airstrip then fly by Sefofane light aircraft to Livingstone and transfer to your chosen hotel.
