Day 1 London/Zanzibar
Kenya Airways overnight flight from Heathrow to Zanzibar via Nairobi, arriving the following day.
Day 2 Zanzibar
Transfer to the Ocean Paradise Resort (Standard option) or La Gemma Dell’ Est (Superior option) for two nights.
Day 4 Selous Game Reserve
Your short safari begins with an early morning Coastal Air flight to Selous Game Reserve, a vast and unspoilt wilderness offering a much quieter safari experience than some of the more well known parks. Here choose from two tented camps on the banks of the Rufiji river – Rufiji River Camp (Standard option) is set in the heart of the reserve and with a constant flow of animals coming to drink that offer a permanent show to camp guests. The camp features a restaurant, bar, library and swimming pool, with 20 comfortable en suite tents all with private veranda. Selous Safari Camp (Superior option) houses just nine luxury tents on wooden platforms, a swimming pool, restaurant and relaxing bar/lounge area. During your two night stay enjoy all the camps activities such as game drives in open 4x4 vehicles, walking safaris and boat trips on the river.
Day 6 Selous Game Reserve/Zanzibar
After breakfast return to the airstrip for your flight back to Zanzibar and three nights at Ocean Paradise or La Gemma Dell’ Est.
Day 9 Zanzibar/London
Kenya Airways overnight flight to Heathrow via Nairobi, arriving the next morning.
