Day 1 London/Arusha
Kenya Airways overnight flight from Heathrow to Kilimanjaro via Nairobi. On arrival transfer to Arusha Coffee Lodge in a Standard room, a beautiful and elegant lodge set amidst a coffee plantation.
Day 3 Arusha/Tarangire
Depart by 4x4 vehicle towards Tarangire for a game drive through this spectacular park, renowned for its elephant troops. Lunch and an afternoon drive follow before arriving at Tarangire Treetops, where rolling hills and stunning views house luxurious treehouses built into Baobab trees. Each has its own balcony, double shower and huge bed with views over the treetops. Stay two nights here with the option of day and night game drives and walking safaris (approx. 160 miles).
Day 5 Tarangire/Eyasi
Head to the remote land of Lake Eyasi where the Hadzape tribe live, one of the last nomadic hunter-gatherer groups in Africa today. You will have the opportunity to witness the fascinating customs of this age old tribe (approx. 100 miles). Tonight is spent at The Manor at Ngorongoro, an old German-Dutch settler farmhouse that has been lovingly restored to include luxurious cottage rooms, lounge/bar, library, swimming pool and snooker room.
Day 6 Eyasi/Ngorongoro
Travel to the famous Ngorongoro Crater home of the endangered black rhino and other big game. After lunch return to The Manor for dinner and overnight. The crater is at high altitude and can be cold so be sure to pack a mixture of warm and light clothing (approx. 75 miles).
Day 7 Ngorongoro/Serengeti
On to the vast Serengeti plains, viewing the famous Olduvai Gorge en route. Enjoy lunch en route then a game drive in the National Park before arriving at the luxurious Migration Camp, hidden amongst the rocky outcrops overlooking the Grumeti River and its resident hippo. During your two nights enjoy superb game drives and relax in your sumptuous luxury tent raised on stilts (approx. 120 miles).
Day 9 Serengeti/Arusha/London
Transfer to the Lobo airstrip for Air Excel (or similar) flight to Arusha. After lunch, connect with your Kenya Airways overnight flight to Heathrow via Nairobi.
