Day 1 Tue London/Arusha
Depart London Heathrow flying Kenya Airways overnight to Nairobi then on to Arusha.
Day 2 Wed Arusha/Lake Manyara
Arrive in Arusha and transfer by 4x4 vehicle to Lake Manyara, enjoying the first glimpse of Tanzania as you go. You will arrive at Lake Manyara hotel in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive. All of the hotel’s 100 rooms have a balcony or patio looking out to the spectacular Rift Valley and it is superbly located for game drives where you will be on the lookout for the numerous elephants of the park, as well as the notorious tree climbing lions lounging in sausage trees. Clouds of pink flamingos rim the lake and pods of hippo bask in the deeper areas, often with egrets resting on their backs. Other game include herds of buffalo, baboons, rhino, impala, giraffe, leopard, zebra, waterbuck and blue and vervet monkeys (approx. 80 miles driving today).
Day 3 Thu Lake Manayara/Serengeti
This morning enjoy an early morning game drive before driving to the famous Serengeti National Park, home to over 35 species of plain dwelling animals, and often referred to as the jewel in the crown of National Parks. This safari takes you to the Seronera Wildlife Lodge for two nights overlooking open plains and acacia trees. The lodge is built on two levels and is basic but comfortable and affords a prime location in the heart of the Serengeti. During your stay enjoy game drives to see an array of wildlife (approx. 125 miles).
Day 5 Sat Serengeti/Ngorongoro
Today head south east to the Ngorongoro Crater, a spectacular wildlife haven. Alleged to have the most dense population of predators in Africa, it is also home to the endangered black rhino. A range of birdlife, are also attracted here by the soda content in Lake Magadi on the crater floor. Your lodge for this evening will be the Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge, perched on the very edge of the crater and with all 75 rooms offering stunning views across the crater (approx. 87 miles).
Day 6 Sun Arusha/London
This morning return to Arusha where you catch a scheduled flight to Nairobi, and then connect with the evening Kenya Airways flight to London Heathrow, or alternatively extend your experience to the beautiful Kenya Coast or Spice Island of Zanzibar off Tanzania in the Indian Ocean (approx. 120 miles).
WATAMU EXTENSION

Day 7 Mon Arusha/Watamu
After an overnight stay in Arusha, drive for approx. one hour to Kilimanjaro for your Precision Air flight to Mombasa. Transfer two hours drive north to Watamu and the Turtle Bay Beach Club for four nights.
Day 10 Fri Watama/Mombasa/London
Transfer back to Mombasa for your Kenya Airways overnight flight to London Heathrow via Nairobi, arriving the next day.

Day 6 Sun Arusha/Zanibar
Drive from Arusha to Kilimanjaro for your Precision Air flight direct to Zanzibar and transfer to Zanzibar Beach Resort for four nights on this stunning island of white beaches and warm waters.
