Set on a spectacular mile-long beach, this well-established resort offers a great range of facilities.
This friendly and informal resort hems a stunning stretch of beach and a shallow lagoon. Its architectural style is inspired by traditional fishing boats, with lots of natural wood and thatch that creates a charming setting. Ideal for families with younger children as well as couples, the resort offers plenty of activities as well as undisturbed serenity. Hammocks are dotted beneath shady palms and sun-loungers sit amid frangipani trees by a vast pool fringed by palms and stone statues. Excellent leisure facilities include a diving centre and spa, plus you can also enjoy access to all facilities at neighbouring Sugar Beach Resort (see opposite).
The main restaurant offers a hearty breakfast and international cuisine for dinner. For romantic meals there is a private thatched cabana overlooking the pretty pond. Sample local dishes in poolside cabanas at the rustic beachside restaurant or enjoy casual lunches from the comfort of your sun-lounger. There is also an oceanfront Italian restaurant, a café where you can sip delicious cocktails served in a coconut, plus two bars and nightly entertainment including live bands.
Designed in the style of a traditional fishing village, with each area named after a tropical flower, Mauritian bungalows are made of volcanic rock, fringed with thatched roofs and resemble the front of an upturned fishing boat. Standard Rooms face the lagoon and Superior Rooms are more spacious and closer to the beach.
