Rooms
The 158 wonderfully refurbished butler-serviced suites are located in two-storey villas dotted around the resort and have a beautifully light, plantation house style with white-washed walls and dark wood furniture. The Deluxe Suite Garden View overlook the resort’s tropical gardens while guests in the Seaview Suites and Deluxe Beach Front Suites can enjoy views of the Indian Ocean from their balcony. It’s well worth upgrading to the Junior or Senior Suites for a little extra room as they feature a living area or living room respectively. All of the suites are great but, if you want to splash out, the spacious Ocean Suite Beachfront offers direct access to the sand and extra benefits such as a private dinner in the garden during your stay.

Dining at Le Telfair is a pleasure and there are three restaurants and a lounge on-site. Guests also have the option to book tables at the fine-dining Le Château de Bel Ombre, Heritage Golf Club, C Beach Club and the restaurants at neighbouring Heritage Awali.

Run by a local brand, the inviting Seven Colours Spa brings together the island’s varied cultural influences in treatments that focus on natural ingredients. Discover a new level of relaxation courtesy of one of the signature rituals or massages – even more restful in one of the outdoor suites surrounded by tranquil pools – or linger in the hydrotherapy pool or hammam.
Expert practitioners lead private and group tai chi, yoga (hatha and ashtanga), qi gong and meditation sessions in various locations and there's a fully equipped fitness centre.
There are plenty of activities: think table tennis, tennis (on the beach or one of the floodlit courts), badminton, beach volleyball and beach soccer. Another option is to hire a mountain bike to explore the local landscapes.
Nearby Mauritius Dive Adventures offers beginner courses plus dive trips to some of the island’s best sites at its 5 Star PADI dive centre.
From the Cabana boat house by the beach, you can go kayaking, laser sailing, pedal boating, snorkelling and stand-up paddleboarding. For a fee, you can also arrange windsurfing, swimming lessons and kite surfing (lessons and equipment rental).
The 18-hole championship Heritage Golf Course is on the doorstep, and its undulating landscape offers a gentle workout in nature and La Reserve Golf Links course is the first and only private course in the Indian Ocean; co-designed by Open Champion Louis Oosthuizen.
