We stayed in this resort on our honeymoon and it will always have a special place in our hearts. It’s small, chilled-out and intimate – you can stroll around it in 20 minutes. There’s a fantastic house reef perfect for snorkelling, and diving if you’re daring enough (I was!). What makes this resort so special, though, is the friendly staff. They make you feel so welcome and really look after you. And the sunsets are unbeatable!

In the unspoilt Baa Atoll, approx. 20 minutes flight from Malé airport followed by a 15 minute speedboat ride. From 2014 transfers will be 35 minutes by seaplane.

Dining options include The Rehendhi Restaurant - the main restaurant and 24-hour coffee shop situated over the spectacular lagoon, as well as the Reethi Grill, Saima Garden offering Maldivian and international cuisine, and poolside Alifaan Restaurant, plus a choice of bars. Leisure facilities include tennis, squash, badminton, a tropical spa, air-conditioned fitness centre (all payable locally) and swimming pool. Catamaran sailing, canoeing, kitesurfing, waterskiing, glass bottom boat and diving school (all payable locally) are available. There is also occasional evening entertainment.

Accommodation information

110 villas, each with air-conditioning, ceiling fan, minibar, television, telephone, and terrace.
Reethi Villas (38m²) have partial open-air bathroom with shower.
Deluxe Villas (47m²) include sitting area, bath and Maldivian swing.
Water Villas (61m²) are in pairs on stilts over the water, a few minutes from the beach and have a DVD player, tea and coffee making facilities, bath and balcony.
