Sundowners at the Asian Wok restaurant at Meeru are a highlight. Visit at sunset to start off the evening, sitting with your legs over the side of the hexagonal open sided restaurant on stilts, on delightful colourful cushions watching the bats fly home to the neighbouring island, the reef sharks playing in the dusky light and, as always in the Maldives, the most amazing sunsets.

In North Malé Atoll, approx. 55 minutes by speedboat from the airport.

There are two main restaurants, Meeru Café at the Dhoni Bar Pool, overwater Asian Wok, Hot Rock Restaurant and Bar, sand floor bars and occasional entertainment. Two swimming pools (one adults only), fitness centre, two spas (one overwater), tennis, badminton, table tennis, volleyball, golf driving range, 9-hole pitch and putt, dive centre, snorkelling, windsurfing, catamaran sailing, kayaks, a large boutique and a host of excursions. The house reef is reached by boat.

Accommodation information

286 rooms, each with air-conditioning, television, CD/DVD player, tea/coffee facilities, minibar, open-air shower and a terrace.
Garden Rooms (50m²) are simply furnished in single storey terraces on the island's interior.
Superior Rooms (56m²) are spacious, individual bungalows on the beach, with beautiful views of the lagoon.
Jacuzzi Beach Villas (80m²) feature a walled garden and outdoor Jacuzzi.
Water Villas (60m²) straddle the water’s edge, with four-poster bed and sundeck.
