Take a walk along the western side of the island during the few hours before sunset and spot baby black tip reef sharks in the shallows. For a chance to see an adult black tip, take the shark safari and enjoy an exciting snorkelling excursion off Baros Reef where you snorkel along the drop off, home to colourful tropical fish, turtles and of course, black tip reef sharks. For the best experience, stick close to the marine biologist accompanying you as they are used to spotting things living within the reef and will point out things others would miss!

The 12 acre Kuda Huraa island is 25 minutes by speedboat from Malé airport.

There is an infinity pool with swim-up bar, gym, spa on its own islet reached by dhoni boat, night spa, PADI 5-Star IDC Centre, surf school, waterskiing, parasailing, free non-motorised watersports including canoeing, catamaran sailing and snorkelling equipment, Marine Discovery Centre with turtle pools, a kids' club, teen centre and a boutique. There is also a poolside snack bar, lounge bar, café, seafood barbecue terrace and Italian and Indian/Maldivian restaurants.

Kuda Huraa is the also homeport for the wonderful Four Seasons Explorer – a luxurious catamaran, which sails between Four Seasons' two Maldivian resorts on three, four and seven night cruises.

Accommodation information

96 pavilions, bungalows and suites, each with air-conditioning, ceiling fan, minibar, tea and coffee facilities, television and DVD/CD player, bath and shower, sun deck with daybed.
Beach Pavilions (45m²) are as above with pool.
Beach Bungalows (63m²) have a private plunge pool, bathroom with indoor shower and open-air garden shower with sunrise or sunset views.
Water Bungalows (61m²) have a lounge, steps to the lagoon and uninterrupted sunrise or sunset sea views, also available with plunge pool at a supplement.
One Bedroom Water Suites have a separate living area, two decks with loungers and sunrise or sunset views.

Children's club

The Kuda Mas ('Little Fish') Kids Club offers a complimentary daily programme of sports, crafts and games for 4 to 12 year olds. Activities include junior yoga and spa sessions, snorkelling with a Marine Biologist, cooking classes, kitemaking (and flying) and palm-leaf folding.

Sustainable features

Kuda Huraa runs numerous environmental, conservation and sustainability programmes. These include:
