KUONI LAUNCHES DEDICATED 2008 CHINA BROCHURE AS BUSINESS TO DESTINATION IS UP BY OVER 60%
Leading specialist longhaul operator Kuoni Travel has launched its dedicated 2008 China brochure, featuring the most comprehensive selection of holidays to this exciting destination currently available. Offering a variety of tours, suggested itineraries and multi centre holidays, each of which can be tailormade, at 120 pages, China 2008 is the ideal guide to this spectacular country of contrasts. Exciting new properties range from the lavish Venetian due to open in September in Macau, the distinctive Radisson Shanghai New World hotel and the superb Peninsula Beijing, to boutique hotels, farmhouses and Mongolian tents.
Along with city breaks to Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai, there are a range of escorted tours of China’s classic, iconic sights, as well as off the beaten track gems, serene cruises along the Yangtze River, relaxing beach escapes to Hainan Island and a chance to witness the unspoilt beauty of Tibet and Mongolia. New tours for 2008 include Reflections of China – visiting the captivating cities of Beijing, Xi’an and Shangai, along with the picturesque cities and towns of Suzhou, Hangzou and Tongli; Authentic China, which combines the classic sites with some more off the beaten track destinations such as Taiyuan, Pingyao and Luoyang – and Treasures of Taiwan.
Commenting, Mark Robson, Product Director, says ‘China is literally booming with us at the moment, with business being up in excess of 60% year on year. This is our second dedicated brochure to the destination, and it features a more in-depth choice of properties, tours and itineraries than anything else in the market place. With Kuoni’s trademark expertise and ability to tailormake, there is a huge variety of options on offer whether for first time visitors, those who are returning to this magnificent country, or perhaps that magical ‘once-in-a-lifetime’ trip. It has everything to offer from classic sites to lively cities; remote wildernesses to relaxing beaches and a really fascinating cultural heritage. In addition, we are seeing the opening of yet more top world class properties opening up across China – in the major cities as well as secondary regions around the country. We fully expect that demand will continue to grow, with the forthcoming Olympics likely to raise interest still further in this exciting, vibrant destination.’
The lead in price for the brochure is £729 per person for five nights in Shanghai, staying at the Jingan Hotel, including flights with Virgin Atlantic, and transfers.
