Kuoni scoops three awards at travel weekly globes including best longhaul tour operator for 25th time - (16th January 2008)
Kuoni is proud to have been voted ‘Best Longhaul Tour Operator’ for an unprecedented 25 years at Travel Weekly’s prestigious Golden Globe Awards. In a hugely successful evening, Kuoni also won the ‘Best Tour Operator to the Far East, Pacific, Australia and New Zealand’ award and the Daily Mail ‘Favourite Package Holiday Provider’ award.
Known as ‘The Industry Oscars’, The Travel Weekly Golden Globe Awards are the travel industry’s premier awards. Held at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane, the event was hosted by Mark Lamarr with a surprise appearance by soul singer Jocelyn Brown and was attended by over 1500 members of the travel industry.

Kuoni’s innovative travel agents training programme both in the UK and overseas, the Worldwide College, is constantly reviewed and enhanced, to educate and reward retail travel agents. These include the Worldwide Diploma which provides agents with a recognised standard of vocational travel education.
