As of this morning, we are delighted to advise that all 19 Travel Collection passengers have been reunited in Chengdu after the final five were air lifted from Wolong earlier today.
Two Kuoni UK staff are with the group and are working with Consular staff and the British Ambassador to offer all possible assistance and support and will be making arrangements for their safe return to the UK. The group are all in good health and high spirits and are simply happy to be safe.
We are so very relieved that our group are safe and we would like to send our deepest thanks to all involved in their rescue.
Kuoni Policy: Any groups in China due to go onto the Sichuan province are being re-routed and kept up to date locally.
We are contacting any passengers travelling imminently to the affected areas to amend their travel arrangements.

(last updated 15/05/08, 11.00)
As of this morning, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) have confirmed that our 19 Travel Collection clients have been located in the Wolong Panda Reserve and are safe and well. 14 of the group have already been airlifted to Chengdu and are at their hotel with a member of the British Consulate. We await confirmation of when the remaining five will be airlifted out to join the rest of the group in Chengdu and we are hoping that this will be later today.
We have spoken to the British Consular Representative who is with the group at the hotel and he has confirmed that they are all in good health and high spirits and are simply relieved to be safe.
