Families are also well catered for, with a selection of resorts offering well-equipped kids’ clubs and activities. In Mauritius, informal La Pirogue hosts an excellent children’s club and teens’ club and also enjoys use of facilities at its neighbouring hotel, Sugar Beach. Avani Kalutara Resort in Sri Lanka sits in a picturesque location where the river meets the ocean, and has a lovely shaded children’s pool plus abundant activities both within the resort and in the local area.
