Course Emirates Golf Club - The Majlis Course
18 holes, par 72
The original home of the Dubai Desert Classic and the flagship course of Emirates Golf Club, The Majlis Championship course is a challenging par 72, 7211-yard course. Sculptured around the original tall desert dunes in 1987, The Majlis was the first grass course in the Middle East and takes its name from the Arabic for ‘meeting place’. Indeed, one of the most prominent features on the course is the Majlis building itself, positioned between the 8th and 9th holes. The Emirates Majlis is regarded by many as the best golf course in Dubai.

Emirates Golf Club
Course Emirates Golf Club - The Wadi Course
18 holes, par 72
Emirates Golf Club’s second championship golf course was originally opened in 1996 and was named ‘The Wadi’, from the Arabic for ‘valley’. Currently undergoing a redesign by Nick Faldo, The Wadi, which is scheduled to re-open in October 2006, will be a unique and invigorating course providing a challenge to all levels of golfer. One of the main themes of the redesigned course is dramatic bunkering. High flashes of sand, visible from the tee all the way through to the green, will show the golfer exactly where to hit the tee shot. The bunkers have been designed, built and strategically placed to reward the good shots and penalize the wayward shots. With steep faces and long noses entering the bunker, a visually stunning landscape has been created, unlike anything else seen in the region. Players are requested to bring their handicap certificates. The handicap limit is 28 for men and 45 for ladies. In some cases, if a player is playing with a golf professional, playing ability cards or green

The Montgomerie Golf Course
Course The Montgomerie Golf Course
18 holes, par 72
Combining the course design traditions of truly great Scottish links courses. Covering more than two hundred acres, this spectacular golf course provides the player with undulating "links land" style fairways which challenge and intrigue all levels of player. Placement of the drive to the generous fairways remains the cornerstone of any good round. The flat landing area of each fairway can be challenging to find, but in the end a rewarding adventure. With fourteen lakes and eighty one bunkers, The Montgomerie Dubai, this first example of the association between golfing great Colin Montgomerie and Desmond Muirhead adds a distinctive variety to the golfing landscape of the region. One of the signature hole designs, the par three thirteenth, boasts the largest single green in the world. With a total area of 58,000 sq feet - the equivalent of nine greens - its island green can be played from a 360 degree teeing ground giving the advantage of a totally different golf hole each time you play. The putting surfaces of Flora dwarf Ultra Dwarf Bermuda grass compliment the undulating nature of the fairways with generous landing areas and challenging pin positions. The large green surfaces will not only test shot making ability, but the deft touch required for low scoring. With such pedigree ingredients, the experience at The Montgomerie Dubai will add the garnish to the most extravagant golfing destination in the United Arab Emirates. Players are requested to bring their handicap certificates. The handicap limit is 28 for men and 45 for ladies. In some cases, if a player is playing with a golf professional, playing ability cards or green
